I LOVE chicken express but but this location. I hardly ever do reviews but I love y’all’s biscuits and chicken strips but both times I have been through I got either very old biscuits or gave me rolls, and the chicken is old and dry.

I am so sad to give this place one star... I eat here quite often because it's one of the only places you can get livers. Never again. I went about an hour before closing and they served me RAW livers.. no joke. I had already waited about 15 minutes. Dine in was closed so I had to wait AGAIN just for the manager to tell me he couldn't refund my money because I paid with a debit card and I'd have to contact the GM in the morning?! Sure hope the GM handles this correct. Will update.

I had a very unfortunate experience at the location on I40 and Grand today. On my way to work, I decided to purchase lunch and dinner for my night shift and graveyard shift. I drove up to the location at 10:18 am. I understand this location opens its doors and begins taking orders at 10:30 am.I still had some time and I decided to wait a few minutes, I pulled next to the speaker and shut off my vehicle, since diesel trucks are loud and make noise over the speaker. No one spoke to me, nothing but silence until 10:38 when I decided to pull up to the 2nd window, as I assumed maybe the employees had not seen me. When I got to the 2nd window, I could see orders on the counter in bags. I assumed maybe they were taking orders on the inside only.I parked my truck and walked up to the doors, which to my surprise were locked. By this time it was 10:42. I could see the employees standing behind the counter laughing at me. Including one whom had a headset on.In the time it took me to drive around the building and attempt to go inside, get back in my truck, someone was pulling out of the drive thru in a black ford. I can only assume they ordered something, and were on their way out.Again, I attempted to go into the drive thru because I really needed my food for my late shifts tonight. Again, nothing was ever spoken to me from the speaker. I waited a few more minutes before ultimately leaving. I'm not upset about the having to wait, its how the employees behavior towards me affected the rest of my day.Had I known they do not take orders, or even unlock the doors past 10:45...I would have gone elsewhere as my shift began at 11 am.This is not a one time isolated incident. This has happened multiple times, but this time, it was upsetting enough I finally contacted someone at this establishment.I managed to get to work on time, and now I go through the day upset about these events. The behavior from the employees was not acceptable under any means.

When i went today, they should have been open but they weren't. I just thought the doors were still locked so i drove around to the speaker and the window. I don't know happened but they were opened at all.

Told her I was excited to get some Chicken E again as I had been living up North for the past few years. I ordered 4 tenders, okra and a roll. I got 4 pieces of burnt leather, NOT okra, but cold soggy fries. At least the sweet tea was right??? Again, what is going on in these places? I sure have to pay and it sure isn't CHEAP with prices of everything, and to get sub par service, coupled with bad, incorrect food and orders, what are we really paying these places for?

We live in Phoenix and chicken express is the FIRST food/ drink stop any and every time we travel back to Texas or Oklahoma. This location never disappoints! Always fresh and fast service. I can't get enough sweet tea!! Thank you! Thank you!

The service was good in the drive through. The major detractors were the building needs a facelift and a lot of homeless people hanging out in all the surrounding parking lots.
