best ramen ever!!! i try a new ramen place every city i travel to and none have come close!! they do have long wait times but they are upfront about that so you really have no right telling be pressed about it. Only issue is i order togo because of they wait times and lately they haven’t answered the phone at all even if you call as soon as they open :( but worth it i think

I just went there today on 10/20/23 at 5:30 pm and ordered the ichaban special to go. I was on break from a job i was doing two blocks down. I waited until 6:35 pm and finally left. Sadly to say i left with no food. I even called the manager and all she could say was, "Im sorry sir...what do you want me to do?" Not even an apology or discount for waiting an hour with no food. A place that seats no more then 20 people...and i may be pushing it when i say 20.

This is not the kind of restaurant you go to if you are ravenous. The food will take a very long time to arrive. The service was fair only because there was one person serving ALL of the tables and the register. (Poor thing) My rice bowl had mushy rice midway down and the mushrooms tasted odd. We shrugged at it, paid, tipped, and left.

I frequent this restaurant often. For sure once weekly, sometimes more. It never gets old! It is a crammed little restaurant but always worth the wait because you know the food you’re getting is always fresh and hot. There’s always just one server but she works HARD and makes sure you have everything you need. Some of my favorite dishes: ichiban fried rice, beef pad thai, gyoza (appetizer) but the love of my life is the ichiban ramen. so flavorful. so comforting. everything you want in a bowl of ramen. i’m obsessed with this place and you will be too!

IMO the best asian restaurant in Amarillo. I have tried almost everything on their menu and have gotten exactly what I wanted every time. Their ramen is by far the best I've ever tasted. I would also highly recommend their rice bowls, such as their Katsu Don. Truly, you might as well order by covering your eyes and pointing somewhere on the menu because anything you choose will be satisfying and delicious.

Amarillo is my hometown and on my last visit decided to check this spot out. Seemed like a nice little spot. Nope. One of THE WORST restaurants I’ve eaten at. Our food was terrible. The appetizer. Bad. My entree. Bad. Barely any flavor. Had to get my own chili sauce despite asking a couple times. I love food from around Asia, and…this was not it. Unfortunately one of the only restaurants I went to on my trip. My Taco Villa was better. Haha. Never will be back. Big, big, big thumbs down.
