We love My Thai. The restaurant is a family favorite. We enjoy the fried rice dishes, the chicken cashew and the chicken curry especially. The egg rolls are very good. Moo Satay is very good as well. The jasmine tea is wonderful on a cold day. The service is great. The prices are still reasonable but have gone up considerably in the last few years probably because of the economy. The lunch specials are good. The restaurant is family friendly. There are always a lot of people picking up food to go and sometimes there is a wait to be seated during peak dining periods.

This was one of my favorite places to eat 20 years ago, and after moving away from Amarillo and coming back - there's something very off about the food now. It doesn't taste bad per se, but it doesn't taste fresh and flavorful either. Almost like it's been frozen and reheated or something. Kind of like how a meal tastes different the night you cook it vs. reheating the leftovers the next day in the microwave.On a side note, the wait staff seems very disinterested (no smiling, very little eye contact, one-word answers) and a bit standoffish as well. Definitely not the friendly people that I remember. I wonder if the place has changed owners since the last time I was here?

Pad Thai was disgusting brown sludge. Waitress had a coughing fit over table, food, and me, then just pulled her shirt over her mouth rather than leave. Screw this place.

Had takeout, and the food was awful. Chicken fried rice was watery and no flavor. Charlie's special did not taste the way it used to. Don't know what has changed with this place, but will not go back.

My 1st time eating here and my last.I ordered shrimp fried rice which was tasty but, had maybe 10 shrimp AND tomatoes; why tomatoes?Also, I ordered the beef pad thai that had ZERO flavor! Use more fish sauce, folks.
