We stopped here on our drive across the panhandle. It brought back good memories of my days in San Antonio. I'm sure that nostalgia is influencing my review so take it with a grain of salt. I got the brisket and ribs with creamed corn and coleslaw, washed down with a cold topo Chico, and banana pudding for dessert. The brisket was a little chewy but had good flavor. The ribs were delicious, smoky, and flavorful! The Cole slaw was a little sweet, but the creamed corn was as delicious as I remember it! We took the banana pudding on the road with us and enjoyed it as a road snack. The woman who took our order was very friendly, reminded us how things worked there, and gave me a veteran's discount. It was also convenient to get gas there as we left! The decor is old times garage, which is fun.

My family and I went there for loaded baked potato with brisket. The food was cold so I am very worried about the food temperature being stored at proper levels. Have been to multiple Rudy's locations and the experience was excellent. I really hope this location can change for it is very hard to find good BBQ

Well, I had dinner one year ago and promised never to spend another dime in Any Rudy's again, I have not. I was once a fan but no longer. We were traveling the day after Christmas and stopped for bbq, what a mistake. The brisket was a re- heat very dry and unappealing, the coleslaw I once loved tasted like it had been in the cryovac bag way too long. Not a baked potato in the building at 5:00 pm. Could not find a manager to speak with. Will not go back to a Rudy's in fear it's a trend.

First time driving through Amarillo and saw the reviews for this place and wanted to try it out. My pork ribs were good but most of bones had no meat on them. That was my main issue since I order half a pound I only got 4 small ribs but 2 of them had little to no meat. Rudy's bbq sauce was really good and so was the potato salad. Restaurant was really clean and well maintained.

Only went here because Tyler's was closed. The BBQ is decent, but Tyler's BBQ is just so much better and they're about the same price.

Food is decent at best. Nothing really special. Second time we are here was not as good as the first. The banana pudding is about the best thing on the menu. We wanted to like this place but it's just not up to par for great bbq.

Most of the the bbq restaurants near us were closed or closing soon! The meats we ordered were brisket, baby back ribs and pulled pork sandwich. The place was clean with good service.
I got the brisket and it was so dry, you can tell it was left over food . The creamed corn was ok and the potatoe salad was mid. The customer service was good but the food was no bueno.

Rudy's is a great stop when traveling through Amarillo on highway 40. The large family style dining room is perfect for enjoying the wonderful bbq meats Rudy's provides.

I have eaten at Rudy’s in Colorado, Oklahoma, New Mexico & Texas and I have found them to be consistently good. Our group of four had Ribs, Brisket, Sausage, Beans, Potato Salad & Cold Slaw. We all enjoyed our food and ate too much!

If you're passing through Amarillo, this is a great place to stop and eat! Our party of 8 ordered just about everything on the menu, and everything was a 10/10. One of the best BBQ places we have eaten. Plus, don't leave without trying the delish banana or chocolate pudding!!

Just came to town and had to stop at Rudy's. We used the drive thru. Man, whoever hired Dom was a genius. He was so polite and respectful. Sometimes we leave reviews because things don't go well, but Dom made me want to leave a stellar review because he went above and beyond to have excellent customer service. Oh ya, and the food was fantastic.
