I was a little disappointed to find that this was one of the highest rated sushi places in Amarillo. My boyfriend and I went here and thought the sushi just wasnt that good. Most of the rolls are the same thing just with slight changes. We also thought the sushi was quite low quality. Later that night and the following day my boyfriend and I had food poisoning and it was not pleasant.

I’ve been here several times and I love the fish but I am a bit bummed with my experience today. I ordered several hand rolls that have not had rice in them in the past and do not have rice in them on the menu which is what I wanted. But I got a take home order and when I got home they all had rice so they could cut the amount fish they usually give us in half.

Best place in town! Service is always perfect and food is phenomenal!!A small mistake was made with our order tonight. Before we even noticed, they were going above & beyond to make what we ordered & a dessert too! It was not a big mistake & we were perfectly fine with what we got instead, but how they reacted to it all made such a big impact & says a lot about the business.

My husband placed a to-go order and the front hostess was incredibly rude. While it was 7:50PM when my husband ordered, and I understand frustration when it comes to closing late, the hostess was incredibly rude; no greeting, no niceties, straight to the point with “what do you want?” On top of that, they don’t serve gluten free soy sauce.
