I wanted baked goods; pie, cake, tiramisu, something of that sort.It's JUST cupcakes.I wanted a REAL bakery, not somebodies glorified home bake hobby.There were about 4x cupcakes, one type of brownie, and a small variety of cookies.No pies, no other deserts, no cakes, no breads. Again, NOT a bakery, just someone's glorified home hobby I'm a store front.I was disappointed.No selection & NOT a real bakery.

My daughters and I went in this afternoon for a birthday treat and everything was really nice. Awesome customer service, courteous and truly sweet Cara the owner... I believe if I'm right was there today. We really like the layout of everything, the shelving and pastel tea pots. I can go on. LolFrom the colors, seating and displays to the cookies and macarons which by the way were delicious and fresh. They really taste as yummy and cute as they look. Will be getting a cake made there soon sometime. It's also very clean and has a good positive atmosphere.We definitely recommend Sweet By Cara Linn ??You can honestly tell that this business was created with a labor of love, heart and soul. Not even a competition here in Amarillo or anywhere else: Absolutely the BEST small-batch bakery we have EVER been! No refined ingredients! Five stars isn't enough. Previously, we lived in an area that has expert bakers and pastry makers from around the world, and none of them compare to the delectables that Sweet by Cara Linn is preparing daily. Our favorites include the cowboy cookie, the macarons, the Mexican wedding cookies, the red velvet cookie, and the oatmeal cookie. We are so excited that they are going to open another location next to Chicken Salad Chick in the Wolflin area. #AmarilloOriginal #LocallyOwned

My SIL has to eat gluten dairy nut free because of allergies and this place does amazing desserts for him. They did an amazing gender reveal cake they was very good! They were very friendly and accommodating.
Stopped in on a road trip because they popped under "vegan bakery" in Yelp and we were in the mood for carbs (Hey! It's a vacation! Don't judge!) Adorable shop, nice ambience, friendly staff. We were disappointed that the customer before us had purchased all the vegan cupcakes, but we enjoyed the vegan cookies: chocolate/chocolate chip, regular chocolate chip, monster cookie, and this treat I can't remember the name of: two cookies with vanilla icing in between (they can make that with any cookies). The cookies were fresh from the oven and still gooey...so good. But here's the reason for the five star: she offered to whip up our choice of vanilla or chocolate vegan cupcake and then text us when they were ready! We shopped around (including at the adorable bookstore next door), got the text, and picked up our cupcakes, packaged for the road. We ate them for dinner (don't tell our doctor!), and they were excellent. We'll definitely stop by the next time we're in town!

Went in excited to see what they had! And was greeted by a not so friendly lady. She didn't explain anything to me just waited for me to order. No eye contact no smile. No thank you. I took my treats and left feeling like a bother. Won't be back and won't recommend to anyone. Cookies were ok, not good enough to go back in.
