How does this place not have a line surrounding the building ordering pizzas?!? This place is great and super friendly I felt right at home also met the man the myth the legend Shorty himself. Ordered a calzone with sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms with the classic ricotta sauce it was honestly the best one I've ever had! The dough really sets them apart. Overall 10/10!

Art Bixby and his family know what they are doing. I don't know if my man's in witness protection or hiding from the law because their place is hidden away but worth the find. The stromboli was outstanding. All the ingredients,mushrooms, peppers, and meatballs were fresh. The dough was flavorful, light, and toasty while the marinara complimented the stromboli well. The secret 24k sauce on our wings was sweet and tangy. The garlic parm sauce was very well balanced. The wings were crispy abs light. I'm definitely coming back on future trips. Sorry, no photos.

I wish we could rate them more than 5 stars. The food is absolutely wonderful. You can taste the fresh ingredients and flavors. But beyond the food I was simply awestruck by their hospitality and openness. When they learnt it was a birthday trip we were taking, they treated us with an extra muffin. I think the love just makes their dough taste better. Highly recommend.

The staff were some of the kindest friendliest people we met on our vacation. The place is out there but is a real honest to goodness home cooked food. The stromboli was delicious and the kids pizza they shaped into a heart for our little girl. Highly recommend.
Just moved into town and was craving some good pizza. I stay in Ingleside and my closest options were Pizza Hut and Dominoes, so it was a no brainer not to go to either of them!! So I gave Shortys a try, which was double the distance from both of those places, and I don't regret the drive at all!! The service was great, from calling in my pizza, to leaving the establishment. This place is family owned and the owners were super nice!! I got to meet Shorty as well which was super cool! The food and experience was great I will definitely be back for more!! Don't go to Dominoes or Pizza Hut, go to Shortys!!! The food is made with ACTUAL care and love. Thank you guys for the great food.

Everybody in that restaurant is just as nice as they can be and the food is spectacular when you walk in the door you feel like you’re walking into your grandmother‘s house and it’s a home-cooked meal. The prices are good. The food is phenomenal. Thank you, Shorty.

Great family run pizza and deli shop. All Ingredients fresh cut, never frozen. Medium crust, not thick, not thin. Out of town at an RV park. The family was very nice. The pizza was great. It doesn't look like mush on the outside, but worth the drive.
