Disappointed. Seems like a nice place, lots of potential. Maybe it was just an off day? Service was fine. Food seemed overcooked. Crabcake was actually burnt on both sides. - but they still served it?! Had the stuffed, grilled fish with sweet potato fries. Fries were good. Fish was not the best. Sweet tea was pretty decent for Texas. (Tennessee friends may not approve!) Had mild intestinal distress the rest of the day.

My family and hardly come out to Aransas but we heard good things about the food here. As soon as we walked in the environment felt so ugly I’ve never felt uncomfortable walking into a room full of white people before but when my family walked in they took one look at us gave us ugly looks. I understand that’s not the restaurant’s fault HOWEVER! We FINALLY get seated and a couple comes in after us (white) and gets seated right away. They order their drinks order their food and my family has yet to speak to a waiter to get our DRINK ORDER! Nobody came up to our table! We finally had enough and excused ourselves from the restaurant. We will not be returning and will continue to warn people about our TERRIBLE experience.

Always great service and food! Tonight we had the calamari and it was great. Also tried the bang bang shrimp appetizer and it had a delicious kick! They have frozen margaritas and on the rocks. Burgers are huge and very tasty. I love their blackened Mahi and their caper sauce. Asparagus isn't on the menu but ask if they have any that day and if they do, I suggest you order it. My husband ordered the grilled fishermans platter. He loves their crab cakes. The only thing is the lighting. We wish it was slightly brighter but that's the only thing and isn't even a big issue. If you're in town I suggest you stop here for a meal. We used to love going to the big fisherman so we were stoked when we found this place!

Really nice atmosphere. We sat comfortably at the bar and were well taken care of! The Bloody Mary's were good and the bacon wrapped jalapeno appetizers were amazing! The sauces were house made and delicious. We ordered the stuffed shrimp and the fisherman's platter. Both were excellent choices. Everything was fresh and wonderfully prepared. The portion sizes as well as the individual sizes of the shrimp and scallops were above average. The crab cake was also large and tasty. The sides were also unique and made in house from family recipes. We chose the great beans and sausage and the Cole slaw. Wonderful! We will definitely be back to try more. They have a nice varied menu with something for everyone. Highly recommend this great little place.
The fish & Shrimp combo is delicious. The shrimp & Fish are large for the dinner portion.

Eat here this afternoon Aug 5 and had a fantastic server Gillian. Couldn't have been more on spot! Always on top of drinks and did a fantastic job. The food, fantastic. My husband couldn't get over the size of the fried oysters. He had seafood combo and completely blown away. My shrimp was fantastic as well. Daughter, you made your father proud today. Great job we will be back next time we come this way.

Friendly waitress, quick service and the food was just okay. We had the Fisherman's Platter and it was very generous. However, the green beans had too much vinegar, the shrimp was overcooked, one oyster was tasty, the other one was very fishy tasting. The prices are reasonable but not the best food. I was disappointed.

Aaawwweeessome!!! This place continues to put it’s best foot forward even with a depleted staff. The food is always fresh and cooked to absolute Perfection. Marissa is a ray of sunshine and very attentive to your needs. Marissa’s ability to greet you with a friendly face and a warm smile just compliments the already exquisite atmosphere.
