A fairly decent grocery that caters to both Subcontinental and Middle Eastern products. It also has a meat section and another section that sells Subcontinental snacks and Middle Eastern sweet items. Almost everything that you may need in your day-to-day cooking and consumption is available here. The store associates are hard-working, helpful and courteous. However, this is not a restaurant at all, as the sign outside declares. There is a single table with 2 chairs tucked into a tight corner. And you have to ring the bell to order from among the snack or sweet items. Ideally, therefore, this place ought to be renamed "Aladdin Groceries" or something. One downside of this place is that the aisles are not designated or labeled. But that perhaps doesn't matter, because there aren't too many aisles anyways. The parking is ample.

This is not a restaurant. A small table in the corner by the fridge in a Food Mart. Even the girl that works in the Mart doesn't know about it.

This place has really gone down. It used to be our family favorite, but the food tonight was no where near what we have enjoyed in the past. The business is about one-third smaller due to a downsizing in the last few months. The salmon kebab was not fully cooked, and the cabbage rolls (which we were glad to see back on the menu) were only mildly warm. We left wondering if this business has changed hands. Upon arriving home, I lost my dinner at the toilet. Hopefully, I will return to normal tomorrow.

Good location, easy parking, limited menu, fresh food, service was a bit slow. Other than that solid 4-star establishment.

We ate at Istanbul Grill about 10 years ago on an infrequent visit to Texas. Ever since then, it has been the top-rated restaurant in Arlington every time I check. Recently, I had the opportunity to take my lovely bride back there a second time. They did not let me down. It is every bit as good as it was back then, if not better. The lamb was almost melt-in-my-mouth tender, moist and flavorful. Yet it was so mild that I almost mistook it for beef. The service was as good as the food. Our waitress was so graceful that I suspect she may be the matron of the establishment. She asked us if we wanted to take away our leftover flatbread. When we agreed to that, she brought more warm bread in a carry-out bag. My only regret was that it was too late in the evening to try the Turkish coffee. I hope it won't be 10 years before we do this again!

People rate this place as one of the best in Arlington. This is sub par at best. The restaurant is filthy, the server was rude and the food was plain. be adventurous try a million other places. You’re missing out real Mediterranean food. This is not it.

The beef kabob is phenomenal but all the food was stellar so you can’t go wrong. Even my kids were blown away and want to come back next time we come to Six Flags.

This was the most amazing meal! The service was exceptional. We live in DFW and frequently come to Fort Worth to eat. Istanbul is now, hands down, my favorite restaurant in Fort Worth! Thank you Istanbul for a wonderful meal!

Our first time here and we were very pleasantly surprised. The beef kabob was truly the best beef I've tasted. Tender and flavorful, it far exceeded my expectations. The chicken kabob was equally flavorful and tender. Be aware that the chicken kabob is served over salad, so don't order the salad as the side. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the service friendly. An absolutely superb meal.

This was recommended to me by my dental hygienist. I took my mom and my daughter. We all ordered different dishes to share so we could try more items. We all loved it and everybody else there seemed to really enjoy themselves too. We went during lunch and it was not crowded. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu items. A very enjoyable lunch and we do want to go again in the evening to experience the atmosphere then.

Quite a nice restaurant. The tableau was very heavy in parsley and light on bulgur. Not my preference. I had Leg of Lamb. It fell off the bone!! Wonderful. The cauliflower underneath was great. The rice quite good. Prices were very reasonable. Had baklava and kenefer for desert. Both were great. I do recommend this restaurant!! It IS BYOB.

Everything is excellent. All the appetizers, entrees, dishes are delicious. Very good food. It’s BYOB. A Shiraz wine makes a good pairing with the food. The atmosphere is pleasant. Top notch restaurant. Try it!

The food is beyond fabulous. I truly enjoy it all. Plus you can bring in your own wine. My favorite is their gyro meat platters. Plus the service is always nice and attentive. Lunch or dinner this is approved.

My girlfriend and I visited Istanbul Grill for dinner as part of a weekend concert trip to Arlington. We made reservations 2 days ahead of time and the friendly staff had our table waiting for us right on time with no wait. The atmosphere is very peaceful, laid back and clean. We dressed summer casual and fit right in. The staff is super friendly, professional and attentive. The food is beyond delicious and very authentic to Turkish/ Mediterranean tradition. Unfortunately they were out of lamb chops this particular evening but the chicken and lamb gyro plates, hand made humus, pita bread, and feta cheese dishes were amazing. We thoroughly recommend Istanbul Grill if you desire authentic Turkish food. 5+ stars.
