Went in for fish with greens and yams. Best soul food in Arlington!!!! Just moved from Michigan and I’ve been searching for a restaurant that reminded me of home and I finally found one. Was able to write my name on their lovely wall too.

My daughter got food for us Sunday 9/24/23 and i got chicken it was horrible the chicken tasted burn the skin was overly thick and and way to dark it was burned once i pull the skin off the meat tasted rubber i tried to eat it but i couldn't i will go back how can you mess up chicken that's my favorite food.

Split the Fried Chicken with my wife. Candied Yams and Green Beans. Crust has excellent flavor. Green beans and yams had good flavor as well. Breast piece was very moist. Served extremely hot which made it difficult to enjoy with breading. Meat was low on flavor. Probably great when eaten together.Only real complaint is that I was made to feel uncomfortable because of my lack of melanin. Guess people who look like me shouldn't enjoy soul food.

decied to try this place out. order 3 dishes, $72. i ask for a togo container to split one of the plates. she said we do NOT give out containers... i doubt if i will be ever going back. 72 dollars and she wont give me a paper togo box. young lady, you do not understand business client retention. the quality of the food is absolutly muted due to the negative experience. no food is worth it.

Not only was my food hot when I receive it . When I seen that corn coming out that cornbread I was like okay that’s different but when I taste it mix it with that rice my mouth was full of blessings . The chicken was on point and then waffles was amazing ? Yes my new favorite restaurant! Giving the cook ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my first time ordering from here. You wouldn't know they serve food, because it looks just like a store. However, the service was good. The kitchen is located behind a door. You can't see it, nor can you hear anything going on back there. My food was brought out. No dining in, only take out. The fried okra was delicious. It barely made it home. I was amazed when I opened the container with the catfish, shrimp, and grits because It was a lot. It was very tasty. I would definitely go back.
