Damian has the best food around I go there at least once a week. We’ve tried everything there & it’s all good. No Cajun soul food around compares.

Y'all!!!!!!!!!! This place is AMAZING. I've only had it twice because I'm not from Texas, but I wish this place had more locations (New Orleans, Louisiana to be exact). Everything is so flavorful! & Everyone is so nice and they definitely make you feel at home when there. The food is 10/10!!

I got the catfish which was good. I got a side of cabbage which I was surprised to find that it has a teriyaki flavor but still was good. I also got mashed potatoes n gravy. THAT GRAVY THO. I will be coming back n definitely getting Salisbury Steak so I can have as much of that gravy as possible. Support your small family businesses and taste for yourself why they have good reviews!

I stop by to get their cabbage and yams, the yams are flavorful and the cabbage has a spicy flavor to them. The staff is always pleasant.

This is a Arlington must! The owner is one of the friendliest person you will ever meet. I don't know how he does it but he remembers his customers and greets you with a smile. I've been a customer for many many years and the food is consistent. No matter what you choose you can't go wrong. I love the smoke ox tails. I've had them other ways but never smoked. I was skeptical at first but I fell in love after the first bite. Now that's mine and my husband's go to meal. The fried chicken, pork chops and Salisbury steak are my favorites, but there is much more to choose from.

Although the food is delicious the explanation as to why my pick up order that was ordered at 11:30 for pick up at 12:30 and was not ready til 1:05 makes zero sense. I was told that they handle the people in front of them then pack the to go orders. Well I in front of you for pick up at 12:30 and I watched the 8 people in line before me get there food and leave AND the guy who came in behind ALL get their food before me. Maybe an off day but really ran me hot..
