The pho soup (broth) don’t taste up to par, not tasteful. Don’t feel energized after eating, seem like simple water! But they have pickles of garlic and jahapino.

Having just had six teeth pulled and unable to chew food, Pho became my beacon of salvation from the ocean of hunger. I am not Vietnamese, but I am a true foodie. I first had Pho when I was in college in New York, and then I would look for places to eat Pho every time I went to a new city. For decades, I have traveled around the world to countless countries and wrote food guides for some cities where I stayed for a long time. I arrived in Dallas before the COVID-19 pandemic, and this was not the first restaurant with Pho I encountered. I stumbled upon this restaurant while shopping in the supermarket the following month, and I found the original taste I had been looking for half the world, and then this became my base for eating Pho in DFW, and I brought all my friends here. The boss is serious and guards the lobby all year round. She is a very kind and friendly lady, and so are the other employees. I love this place and recommend it to everyone! !

This is the best wonton noodle pork broth I have had in Texas. I highly recommend this restaurant. The grilled shrimp spring rolls were very tasty.

DFW, Texas Best combo for today!! When it is cold, you just want the hot fish in clay pot and sweet and sour soup to warm your soul. 1. Vietnamese Caramelized cat fish in a lay pot (aka cá kho tộ): a savory sweet tender fish cooked in a clay pot with a kick of spicy from chili and black pepper served with hot steam rice. Here, they cook with crunchy pork belly which made the dish more rich and of course delicious 5/5 2. Vietnamese sweet and sour soup (aka canh chua): the sour of tamarind with the sweetness of fish and ton of different ingredients like tomato , pineapple , okra, elephant ear and various of herbs. Get some fish sauce and chilli to dip the fish in 5/5 They are born for each other. The two popular dishes that are served together in most of the meals in Vietnam. Of course, hot steam rice can't be miss. Good Vietnamese restaurant located in a shopping strip with a grocery store and food court. Hadn't been here in a while but I do remember the congee aka rice soup and cabbage salad is really good. This time decided to order the Hu Tieu pork and it was a bit too salty for me. Didn't complain though I was hungry Af and ate it. Really great prices and portions. I'd recommend for large groups. Enjoy!

Hu Tieu My Tho is located in Cho Ben Thanh markert in Arlington, Tx, right outside the food court entrance serving up delicious bowls of noodle soup! We came in on a weekend, and it was fairly packed but managed to find a seat. We were presented our menus to order, and they took our drink orders as well when we sat down. The food served here is based off of there hu tieu broth, so we couldn't resist not ordering anything other than hu tieu! We went ahead and ordered the mi hoanh Thanh, which is a wonton noodle soup with egg noodles and wonton dumplings. We also ordered the udon noodles with pork and shrimp, and hu tieu my tho, which was a dry noodle dish with a broth. Everything was excellent and tasted phenomenal, and I couldn't get enough of slurping the tasty soup! They were garnished nice with green onions and chives, and the shrimp was as sweet as ever as if it was caught directly from the ocean. Customer service needed some help as we got a young lady as a waitress who had an attitude with us when asking about a food item from the menu. I'm guessing apparently she wasn't too fond and knowledgeable on the items listed on the menu, but other than that, everything was great. They will charge a 4% fee on any credit / debit card fees on all orders, so in other words, cash is king! Overall, it was a great noodle soup spot, and I'm looking forward to going back to try other dishes such as their pho, bun rieu, and appetizers.
