Everything was a little salty, but I was more annoyed and concerned about the amount of small bits of goat bone that I could have broken a tooth on, cut my gums, choked, or punctured any part of my esophagus or intestines. And not taking out thyme stems is equally annoying. Every 2-3 bites I took of my meal, I had to stop chewing and spit something out.

Drove from Mckinney TX. Today to try the OXtail rice and peas plus a beef patty ×2. We received 2 old cold Beef Patties. We also was served Cold Rice and fatty OXtails with no meat on the bone. The little meat the OXtail did have was TOUGH AS LEATHER. The atmosphere is not Friendly and I truly felt like I was robbed today because my hard earn money was just giving aways. It was no need to complain in store because clearly they knew what we was served. Today was my first and last time ever going out to eat at a Jamaican Restaurant if it's not located in Miami, Boston,New York this was the worse food that they could've ever represented for their CULTURE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE CATCH IT ON THE EAST COAST BECAUSE THESE SOUTHERN JAMAICAN AINT IT.

It's the whole vibe for me!!! I will say the waitress was sweet but we ordered our food (10 people) and my daughter never received her nachos .... and the waitress finally said oh were out of nachos ... I think that should have been address before every one at the table had their meal but my daughter ?

A must go!!!! The food was hands down the best I’ve tasted . The seasoning , tenderness , well marinated, veggies , Rum Punch drink , One Love drink , and of course red stripe to top off the dinner . This place was clean , staff was extremely professional, polite , customer service was amazing from the servers to bar tender, cleaners , cookers , and our waiter. Everyone spoke as weak as the customers . Very pleased with the location , perfect place to relax anytime. We look forward to going back Saturday for the live band. ❤️ Well done to the owner and management staff for finding the right people to brand their spot . Loved it ! This place is a must Go !

Portions have shrunk since I moved to another part of DFW. The patties are the same from the frozen section. Guess this will be the last visit for me.
Oxtails were very good just not enough and my daughter had the jerk chicken. She liked it very much. Very tasty not too spicy.

The Food was deliciously authenticThe Service was exceptional from start to finish.I hosted my book club meeting at jamaican gates which truly was the perfect atmosphere.Great time had by all.I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

I had the worst worst super worst, yacky experience of my life over here. Came in , nobody cares whether you seated down or not,everybody passing you like a stinking fly,nobody is asking you what you want, I decide to go to the kitchen door to seek for help, only to be promised someone is coming to my table, someone showed up on my table after one hour later to come pick the order, she doesnt even understand their own menu and cant answer nothing, another hour later,added to the initial hour,shoelws up with only one plate of food while I ordered 4 plates,again the different waitress is the one that dropped the food,I ask her the rest of the food,She doesn't know anything about what I ordered, At this point the kids are very hungry and uneasy. I only respect the chef that came from the kitchen to try give the kids food for free, to compensate for all the mess,but am sorry I can't eat where I have been treated bad, how will I know my food is pure. WORSE WORST WORSER experience of my life.I was so emotional at this point with my tears now rolling on my chics. HOPE YOU HIRE QUALIFIED PERSONEL,ESPECIALLY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND YOUR WAITRESS,BURE KABISA CHAKA CHAKA GO HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.?????????????????????????????????????????

Food was pretty good and flavorful. I had the brown stew chicken and my husband ordered the gate curry chicken and jerk nachos. All were good! However… waitress was sweet but service was very slow. We waited nearly an hour, and all came out at the same time.
