I echo the sentiments about their service. I've been here twice, two years apart, and both times they've said something to me along the lines of "well you don't know what durian is." Wth? I'm Filipino. I hate their gatekeeping and stereotyping, where they attempted to judge me on my appearance, but got my background wrong in the process. BOTH TIMES. TWO YEARS APART. All I asked is what flavors they had ready. First time was a fluke. Second was a racist pattern. Asians can be brown. And non-Asians certainly know what durian is I'm sure. They also have cases of sad-looking breads. Can't wait until 85 Degrees opens in Grand Prairie. I don't like buying from stereotyping (who can't even guess my race correctly) rude racists so I'm not coming back.

Great customer service. Cakes were impressive with attention to fresh fruit/ detailing on top and which also ate delicious/ moist! We'll be back!

We love the cakes and pastries at Star Kiwi! Everything is fresh and you can tell the bakers take pride in their creations. The cakes are decorated so beautifully, I almost don't want to cut into them, but alas, they taste great. They have small pastries ready to go in a clean glass case and I like getting an assortment for get-togethers or the office. I love the butter egg tarts!

Unfortunately, bc of the service we will never again order from here.We asked how big are the cakes, the worker said “half sheet pan”.Okay, about how big is that, he said “a. Half. Sheet. Pan.”- Okay, can you tell me about how many inches that is.Worker - “No, I cannot.”Is things like this that really turns off customers. It’s unfortunate the service has previously been “not great” but this one was overtly rude and can no longer continue to support.

We come here often to order the pandan coconut cake. Always a hit for every event. Fruit topping is an additional charge, but the cake is great even without the fruit.

This Chinese bakery is wonderful. Cash only so be prepared. The roll cakes are my family's favorite but the buns and tarts are delicious too. This bakery is an absolute must if you want authentic Chinese treats.

We've come here several times for the ready-to-buy pastries and egg tarts. They have a pretty good variety to choose from. It always seems fresh when we've come. Haven't ordered cake from here yet. Cash only.

Very difficult to work with when ordering a cake. Rude and unprofessional customer service. The cake itself is not bad but for just a decent cake, I don't know if it's worth putting up with the attitude.

I love these cakes. They are so light and fluffy with a not too sweet whipped cream. So far I've had the vanilla and chocolate and pandan and they were all great. Everyone always ask me where I got them.

Poor customer service! Very mean when I asked questions!

The store itself was pretty scarce on pastries but we did a custom order and the cake turned out beautiful. We ordered the cake a week in advance. We requested for the cake to not be super sweet and to have pineapple filling. The cake was a moist sponge cake with whipped light frosting and it was the perfect touch of sweetness. The fruits looked and tasted fresh. Very tasty!

Do not come here. The owner of the place was terribly rude and condescending and the cakes are overpriced while offering very little. I have also seen them treat other paying customers like they were homeless all because the customer wore something casual. If you don't look like you have money, they don't even bother being polite to you.
