Ordered a torta Cubana..first impression wow it's huge and a lot of meat .. I proceeded to grab the massive thang it's was juicy but not soggy it stayed intact. First bite the ingredients are fresh and full of flavor absolutely delicious. Definitely a must try.

I've been wanting birria tacos ever since they hit the scene, and so many people on the FB Foodies page suggested this restaurant. I decided to try it - even though both locations are in a gas station. Big mistake. The teeny tiny tacos (smaller than a post it note) were $2.50 each. Not much flavor - the flavor was all in the consommé. I decided to try chicken tamales as well. Another big mistake. Maybe two tiny strips of chicken loaded with peas and carrots (yes, peas and carrots), and all of this was encased in completely and totally flavorless masa. After $30 of wasted money, I will never be back.

This place has constantly been on my newsfeed from people raving about their tacos. I decided to come see they hype for myself and ordered some birria tacos. It was my first time trying them so I'm not sure if I just don't like birria tacos or that it wasn't done correctly ? Can't give an honest opinion because I can't compare it to anything, but they were very oily and hard to pick up/keep together. The staff were very nice and the area was clean, but I probably won't be back. They have a second location on Collins so clearly they're popular within the area! The chicken tacos were also a miss (for me). Didn't have much seasoning and was very bleh. Give them a try, support local, and maybe try something new from the menu. Their tamales looked good but after trying the birria tacos I wasn't very enthusiastic to order another item.
