She took time out of her evening to answer my questions and also fit me in the schedule that would low me to get the cake I wanted in time for my party. The cake was amazing. I saw this place and stopped in on a whim. The owner was so sweet and pleasant to talk with. I left with a chocolate cherry cake, a fruit tart and a pecan chocolate chunk cookie. I preferred the tart and cookie they were amazing. Definitely a Treat Yo Self kind of place. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend checking it out!

Terrible service. Attempted going into the store to place an order for a cake for my daughter in 2 weeks. They said the baker was busy and to send an email instead. Refused to even speak to us. I made it very clear to the baker what type of cake I wanted. I sent one picture of the cake I wanted. And a second picture of a certain design I wanted added on to our cake but not the actual cake. Baker got confused or just must have not read correctly because she thought we wanted both cakes, one On top of the other. She emailed me to clarify what colors I wanted for the cake, since the pictures I sent were different colors. Again, I only picked one of the cakes. We fixed the issue and she said she can make it all the same color. But implying it was my fault because I never specified on the notes I wanted the cakes the same color. When again… I only ever picked one cake. So I told her again what I wanted, I sent her a previous messages where I said what I wanted. Baker sent a message asking what I wanted to do. 5 minutes later she sends a message saying I was talking to her in a “certain” way and that she’s not the baker I needed for my needs(when we had already solved the issue and said to just make the cake all one color, and I was just trying to straighten out her confusion) and sent me back my deposit and cancelled the order herself . 2 days before my daughters birthday. Completely unprofessional. The error (in the bakers fault) was already fixed but she was not being adult enough to admit she made the error and just move on. Almost 100% sure she was not even making my cake. She said she was extremely busy making a number of other cakes and couldn’t send me a picture of it but she had the time to send me back my deposit. The reason I wanted to go in person in the the first place was to avoid any confusion. TERRIBLE SERVICE.To your response, at no point did I ever talk to you in a rude manner. I did not curse at you. I apologized for the confusion. The only thing i did was repeated multiple times what i wanted because i told you from the beginning. And you did not seem to grasp that. I apologized and was only trying to make it clear I was not at fault here because you kept telling me i wasnt clear in the notes, when i was clear since the beginning i only wanted the one cake. If you read it in a mean tone, i apologize AGAIN but that was not my intention. We had fixed the issue, i said just make it all pink. But you wanted to get upset and cancel an order over a discrepancy? You are completely unprofessional.

I was really excited to try Homemade in Humble for my son's birthday cake. I see so many people recommend her. The ordering process and response time was great. The cake looked great! In a FB message I mentioned I forgot to ask them to put "Happy Birthday, (son's name)" on the order form. Totally slipped my mind!! She said she found a cake topper that said Happy Birthday and would add the name on the board. I picked up the cake and noticed his name was not on the board. I mentioned it to the lady who packaged up the cake. She looked at the order form and said, it's not on the form. I explained it was communicated through a FB message. Again she said it's not on the order form. I felt brushed off. They seemed busy and I didn't press the issue. It really wasn't a big deal, but didn't appreciate being brushed off. I was really disappointed in the flavor, specifically the icing. It didn't have any flavor/sweetness, and tasted nothing like buttercream icing. I've honestly had better tasting cakes from a grocery store (and other bakers. Maybe they use a bucket too. See owner's response.) This is my personal experience and not everyone will have this experience or maybe they don't like sweet cakes.

You guys must try this bakery! I have picked up a few case-cakes, their homemade cocoa bombs, as well as ordered last minute birthday cakes from these ladies. And let me tell you, everything has always been absolutely delicious!! It’s so nice to call an establishment and get such great customer service each time. Even when you walk in, they are just so great! You can’t beat great tasting cake made by an awesome set of staff! You can tell the owner takes pride in what she is doing here. Tried all day yesterday to order a simple cookie cake as I like to support small private businesses.. 1. Called @10:15, and lady tells me they only accept orders on Instagram and Facebook. 2. Ordered via Instagram @ 10:30 (since Facebook is a liberal trash company) 3. Message sent on Facebook... response two hours later "did your fill out an order form". ..um , what order form? Also, said they were having technical difficulties with Instagram not linking to Facebook...um, ok 4. Sent order in on their website. 5. Received note on Facebook at 5:15.. "without an order form you aren't on our schedule, sorry" and also 'were you given a quote?" ...

I sent a "vision" of what I was looking for, asking for full artistic reign on a Prince-theme cake - these ladies pulled out all the stops and did NOT disappoint.When my little brother & I went to pick up our custom cake, everyone was so friendly and welcoming - it is very clear they all take a huge passion in what they do. I will never be able to thank them enough for making such a perfect cake for our mom's birthday!

Was a bit hesitant to stop,since some reviews I read weren't that good. So I gave in since the kid wanted some macarons and I didn't want to drive down to the city just for macarons. The macarons were actually good and the price wasn't bad. The ladies working there were extremely nice and welcoming. I'd definitely go back.
