Purchased a to go order and rice and beans were all over the plate. Also the food tasted burned. When the owners are there the food is good and if not the food is not good.

This was my first time here and I had the fajitas, yall....let me tell you, these were the best fajitas I have had from ANY restaurant EVER, The meat was perfectly cooked and just down right delicious! Also the chips were so good and fresh, and there green sauce that is served with the chips....yummmmmmy!! I can't wait to come back and try more!

Phenomenal authentic Mexican food. Wife and I moved to Texas two years ago and we've been consistently disappointed by every single Mexican restaurant prior to this one. Tex Mex is NOT Mexican food. Jaliscos is NOT Tex Mex. This is the real deal. Genuinely good food, excellent service, overall a major hit. We will be coming back many, many, many, many times. If you want good lingua, nopales, handmade tortillas, THIS is the place you want to visit.

Food was not good at all. Service was amazing, the girls were very nice. I ordered cheese enchiladas with chili with rice & beans. The rice & beans were ok but the sauce on the enchiladas was far from chili; it tasted and looked like watered down pizza sauce. That's the only way I can explain it. What I ordered was not authentic and for $16 for enchiladas, rice & beans, a coke, & queso, it should have been at least decent.

Visited for the first time and my wife ordered flautas and I ordered Chile relleno! Both were very good and the flautas would had been better if the chicken would had some seasonings in the chicken. Pretty plain. The Chile relleno was excellent and they knew what they were doing there ! Service was great but restaurant booths were pretty small and place appears it needs a little updating. We'll probably give it another try but there are others in Athens that we will try first.
