Overall the food is good for the price! Great place to come w groups. They don’t take reservations but they do have a waiting list and we only had to wait 20 mins which wasn’t bad. The live music is a bit loud but gives the atmosphere a nice touch. The cuisine was good, the Pad See Ew with beef was the best thing we ate.

One of the best modern Vietnamese and Asian fusion restaurants in Austin and the country (we’ve done many states and have eaten at some dozens of similar restaurants). Beautiful decor and great ambience, great customer service, the food and cocktails are well prepared and well done - tasty, unique, great presentation, lots of flavor.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! This is my favorite restaurant in Austin, and I try to go once a month. I recommend the Xiao Long Bao, Thai Tum Yum Coconut Fried Rice, Filet Mignon Stir Fry, and the Flambeau Everest Cheesecake. It's a must try if you're in Austin! Take me with you, actually ?

This is in the running for best restaurant of any style that I have ever been to. The wagyu app literally brought a tear to my eye. The food was amazing in every way. I can't speak highly enough.

Great food, loved the music, service can sometimes be lack luster just due to business. Obviously a popular and tasty spot.
Great atmosphere, UNBELIEVABLE food and service! Best Asian fusion I've had...and Thuk (our server) was the best! We will be back...

My husband and I are trying to be more adventurous when we eat out. 1618 did not disappoint. The mixed drinks were unique and delicious. The pork soup dim sum was so different and yummy. Definitely recommend. We also got the sampler which was good but probably wouldn't get again.

We got patio seating on a busy Saturday night after 45 min wait; but it was well worth the wait. The entrance is through the back in the middle of an apartment complex. Fantastic food & great service all round. Pineapple fried rice served in a carved out pineapple lychee martini & the star of the meal - Flaming cheesecake was definitely a hit!

Lily was our server. She’s amazing. Great menu and drink recommendations. The sake flight was wonderful (first time trying sake), and the emperor cocktail was stellar. Thanks Lily for the recommendations. The food was incredible. Beef fried dumplings, pork soup dumplings (another Lily rec), and the roasted duck and wonton soup is the best soup I’ve ever had (yet another Lily rec). I will definitely be returning to Austin (from Nashville) to eat here again. Next time I need to save room for the famous cheesecake. My Highest recommendation. Ask for Lily ?
