Really great wine and I love the new location in Lockhart!

Great wine and service. I had custom labels made for a company party. The wine and labels were a big hit. Can't wait to go see the new location in Lockhart, TX!!!

Mary was very knowledgeable and helpful; and the wine was great!

I could not have had a worse experience. Our golf group had a private event here. The woman behind the bar — perhaps the owner with short blonde hair — could not have been more rude. When I asked for a glass of wine (we had five tastings), she leaned forward with a scrunched up face full of irritation and gave me the same tasting I’d just had. I knew it but dared not say anything.Later after a couple of women complained about the heat, I asked if they could turn down the AC a bit. (It was downright warm in there, and I’m the one that’s always cold.) The same woman said with stunning anger, “I have it set to 68! What do you want — 50 degrees?” We were appalled. This place is slovenly, the wines are terrible (wrapped in their own label), and worst of all, the staff is incredibly rude. Stay away!I wouldn’t be surprised if she left an angry response.UPDATE: I see the owner left a response asking how they could improve. Really? Start with actually caring about the people who patronize your store.

Aside from a single rosé, every win we tried was terrible. Literally awful. We repeatedly poured out our samples because they weren’t drinkable. The woman that owns the store was so rude and the way she spoke to my partner made my blood boil.I would never go back and could not possibly recommend this place to anyone. The only recommendation I can make is to steer clear of this place.

My favorite little wine shop in Austin. The owner makes all the wine onsite. My favorite are reds and they always go down smooth. Go do a tasting you won't regret it. ??❤??

I do not recommend this place. I went there today with a group of golf gals. There was a lady behind the bar named Mary, I've since found out from looking at their website, she is the owner. She couldn't have been more unfriendly. She never cracked a smile once for the first hour we were there. The store became extremely warm and when one of our gals asked if it was possible to lower the temperature she scowled and said it's already 68, what do you want me to do, lower it to 50? That was after she had slammed her wine opener on the bar. After that she heard some of us discussing her poor behavior and she caught her snap and tried to become all cheerful but it was too late, she had now ruined our experience and afternoon there and we just wanted to get out!! The bar is also very 80's 90's in decor, it needs a good update, and the wine is not good at all. Save your money and go to the nicer wine bars like Aviary where your money and presence are much more appreciated. It baffles me why there are so many good reviews here. I guess a lot of these people don't go to good winery's/vineyards. If you read the reviews on yelp they are less positive.

Recently visited for a tasting and we had so much fun! There were so many to choose from and many we hadn’t heard of before. Got a couple of bottles to go but will definitely be ordering more! Looking for to another visit!

Having traveled from Savannah, GA to visit Austin, it was immediately apparent I HAD to visit Austin Custom Winery after the rave reviews my son and his girlfriend had given Mary and her vast selection of wine. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting and Mary treats you like family. Wonderful place to enjoy a great bottle of wine. I will be back!

Visiting for our anniversary. Amazing family-owned winery located in a convenient area in the city. Went in for tasting with our dog, he was allowed to sit with us and roam a little, as they normally have a shop dog! Really nice wines, shoutout to the Australian Cab Shiraz! Definitely will be back each time we revisit!

Fantastic place! Mary is so wonderful. Her wine is delicious and she is so personable. My group came in after a long day of work and she just brightened up our day. Can buy by glass, bottle, case, whatever you need. $10 for a flight of 6. We will be back!!
