So delicious, so friendly, cool atmosphere. My son and I checked out this place for the first time and we can't wait to go back. I'm not sure I've ever experienced such friendly staff. This place is awesome! 10/10

Atmosphere is great.... buy they don't have a lot of choices for kolaches and pastries. That little case you see in other reviewers photos is all they have. I wished they had more and more variety. They also need to have a better line up system to the counter to order.

The good is amazing, the servers were very kind and patient, the only reason I marked it 3 stars instead of 5 is because they didn’t have a lot of what I was asking for (caramel flavor for coffee/decaf coffee/skim milk) which isn’t the end of the world but was a bit of a bummer. The kolaches were flippin delicious and I would certainly recommend people to come here. I could also see it being a great spot to sit and work on homework too.

I recently spent 5 days on a girls trip to Austin, a city I had previously only visited once, like 7 years ago. Since that trip, I have viewed Texas with a nearly singular goal of revolution--uh, I mean, trying Texas-style kolaches. So imagine my glee when a kolache and beer establishment presented itself as an option?! We tried to go one afternoon, but kolaches were in seriously limited supply, so we returned the next morning. I had a little bit of the ol' vacation gut, and it was relatively early, so I didn't partake of any beer, but their selection, which featured a variety of Czech style beers, looked really good. If I go back, will definitely try one or three of them. What I did have and enjoy, however, was a delightful oat milk latte as well as some kolaches. Got a veggie sausage & gouda, four cheese (which was split), and a strawberry & cheese, which most resembles the kolaches you find in the Czech Republic. My companions got a jalapeño cheese and a couple of meat options, which I did not try. But lemme tell you: that shit was good! Airy yet indulgent, substantial but not overwhelmingly so. Very good. Service was prompt and friendly, the spot is very cute, and they have great souvenirs to take home and prove to your friends that you had what is, perhaps, one of the best kolache experiences in Texas*. (* As previously stated, I have been to Texas exactly two times, both trips to Austin, so the veracity of this last statement should be taken with a significant chunk of salt.)

On our recent to visit to Austin, Batch was a true highlight. Let's just get straight to it: Batch has parking! And lots of it! Conveniently, the bus stop is right out front, too. Batch has a GREAT outdoor area. This would be a super fun place to bring your pup or sit in the sun with a beer. Batch has WIFI! There were a number of people posted up with headphones and laptops. Batch (sometimes) has live events! When we visited, there was a saxophone + bongo drum duo (Keep Austin Weird). Batch has bar seats! Who doesn't love cozying up on a couple of stools and chatting with the bartenders. Batch has beer, coffee, AND kolaches - the Austin food pyramid. What else could you want? Their house beers are tasty, and they have savory and sweet kolache options. We visited on a Friday afternoon, and I was thrilled to enjoy their happy hour. We loved the live music and the friendly staff. My only disappointment was that I realllly wanted a PBJ kolache, but they were sold out. I can say good things about the sausage and cheese and strawberry ones though - tasty time. I truly loved Batch. Quintessential ATX.

Great place for music/ drinks/ kolaches!Parking lot was right next to the venue. There was indoor and outdoor seating. A few food trucks were outside of the venue. Overall, a fun place to play a game, or listen to live music!

Got the jalapeno sausage kolache. It wasn't even a whole sausage it was a 1/4. The sausage was cut in half length wise then again in half for $4.75! Unacceptable ??. I wish I took a picture before we ate to show how sad it was.

The atmosphere was great, some people were just cutting the line and the people in the line were very much polite. The band was good too. They have good selection of beers. We tried Pilsner, the Hazy IPA was not that great.Jalapeno Kolache was very good.

One of the last great community spots in Austin. Delicious coffee, great beers on draft and you cannot beat their kolaches. From sweet to savory. And they change up their kolache fillings from time to time so things are always fresh. Oh, and they make a mean dirty chai. The staff is very friendly and I appreciate that they host so many local music events. I love their community jazz nights. I was just there yesterday for an afternoon of hip hop music out in their SPACIOUS backyard.

You want a kolache? Classics + clever sweet treats you'll drool over. Want a koblanski? Smoked, meaty gloriousness or umami-packed vegetarian satisfaction await! Need a brew now? If caffeine is your thing, a full-on barista experience is available; if alcohol is the name of the game, grab a fine craft brew - lagers, IPAs, saisons, stouts, reds, browns, sours, you-name-it - they range from solid to astounding, with few misses. You want to take a drink home? Most of those beers are canned, with guest spots in their cooler for other local legends. Drop in, drink up, bliss out.
