I dropped by for lunch with the wife. Line was long but moved pretty quickly. Staff is helpful and friendly. Food was amazing. Brisket and turkey was juicy and full of flavor. Ribs are tender and seasoned well. Street corn has a little kick and mac n cheese is super cheesy. Potato salad was good as well. We will definitely be dropping by again.

We stopped in for a late lunch after the eclipse. We got 1.5lbs of dliced brisket and it was very good. Great bark, good smoke ring, tender and flavorful. Street corn was different, but savory and delicious. The Mac and cheese was really good, kids loved it (adults did as well). The peach cobbler was also good. Meal was great all around.It was pretty pricey, about $95 for 2 adults and 2 kids but the food was very good. Service was also fast and friendly.

Brisket was very dry. Ribs had absolutely no seasoning or smoke on them, tasted like they were cooked in an oven. Sides were good. The 2 people working the counter and cutting meat were not friendly at all. Guess we went to the wrong Black's BBQ..

Great BBQ! Add this to your Austin BBQ list asap. The Turkey surprised me the most- it is better than at Terry Blacks. Pulled Pork was fantastic and the beef rib.. wow! When you order the beef rib they alway weight it with the bone which makes it more expensive but whatever- it was so worth it!

They don’t seem to smoke their meat on site but I understand it’s brought in from their other location. That being said this place was great. Everything you want in Austin BBQ without the 3 hour wait (Franklins). Would recommend highly. This BBQ is about the meat, the side come second here.

As a BBQ Aficionado, I've been dreaming of eating at Black's for decades. Well, it finally came true; and did not disappoint! Came in on a Thursday around 3:30. Caught off guard and slacking? I think not. The pit was hot and the food was ready. Had a beef rib, half a slab of spare ribs and a pulled pork sandwich accompanied by the Mexican street corn, beans and mac n cheese. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The street corn and beef rib stole the show but everything was outstanding! Even the sweet tea was perfect. Not too sweet to where you could easily slug it on a hot day. Will certainly be back when in town! Thanks Black's BBQ!

I was very disappointed in the sausage and brisket. Very dry and no flavor. The bread was dry and hard, supper shocking experience. My expectations were high but not worth the drive for me. Maybe it’s just an off night for them.
My first time at Black’s BBC, it was very good. The staff was really friendly. I would recommend visiting Black’s, my Brisket and side were perfect.
