************ LIVE MUSIC WARNING ************** Attention ALL Musicians! So with performing in this City for over 20 years. It's truly SAD that a Venue so Historic as this has turned into an absolute complete SHAM! I was warned by a band friend earlier about certain polices they don't hold up to! Like Canceling last minute with no compensation. My situation was different. I was absolutely on the fence about playing here after the contract language was saying Vs the door then the agreement. They sold tickets prior but no sales at the door!?! Hhhhmmm. Already Shady! Anywho I played there on Jan 27 and its Jan 31st and still not paid! Alex Vallejo and Vallejo Booking is a SCAM Business do not Trust! Sent me to a manager as well making and made FALSE promises! Stay FAR away from this Place!!! You've been warned!

Mandy is absolutely amazing best service I've ever hand, and just seeing her behind the bar and do her work/job to keep this place looking its best. She's truly awesome and should definitely get a raise for everything she does here.

Perfect spot for live music. Narrow. Covered. Great sound. Great sight lines

great venue. but ridiculous $13 for a lone star beer during sxsw? are you kidding me?

Looks to be permanently closed. Not surprised, very expensive real estate.

Simone and Brittany were the best bartenders. Great cocktails and convos.Go now and check out the great UK music they are having this SXSW.

Really cool venue with retro decor. Great place to meet musicians and music-lovers from all over the country while listening to a wide variety of performers. Love the big screen behind the stage for artists videos.

This is actually a really cool place and they have a really fun vibe. The drinks are expensive but you're surrounded by bars so you can drink before you go. Totally worth it if you like the performer.

Love this venue. It's small but great sound system. Also love how the bars are right next to the courtyard so you can feel the music right at the bar.

The Night Owls on Wednesday nights will be the best part to your hump day!!

Bartenders here are awesome. Attentive, pleasant and polite, or at least the ones that served me. Natasha, Lilly. Look forward to going back soon. Will certainly tell my friends about it

Terrible and glitchy speakers. When it's crowded, it's difficult to get to the bars, and the bathrooms are disgusting. Took forever to get a beer. I almost left the show to get a beer at Peche, that's how slow it was. Narrow and cramped, lost my friends. Have fun climbing through a window to get a drink or go to the bathroom.

There's always something going on around here. They have live music every time they're open. This place is just a void between two buildings, perhaps an old alleyway that was transformed into a live music venue with a roof covering the venue, to protect concert goers from the elements. They have a professional sound system with a sound booth and light set up and everything that can handle major acts. Their sound set up is pretty legit! There's two bars, one on either side. Long wooden bars with Lone Star Beer, tallboys! The bathrooms are pretty shady, and the facilities to wash your hands were barely working. There's indoor seating in either building, closest to the entrance. Large comfortable sofas make for a great vantage point to people watch and stay out of the sun, and not get blasted by the band, while being close enough to the bar to keep the Lone Star Beers coming. This venue helps make Austin the Live Music Capital of the World! It's in the Warehouse District, so it's not in such a rowdy area as 6th, but is still a rockin' time. They served up free chicken and vegetable curry when I was here the last time! It was spicy, delicious and most welcomed. I don't think that this bar is handicapped accessible. In order to get in, you have to take a few stairs down into the courtyard. Ironically, this bar isn't on Cedar Street, I don't think... It's on 4th Street. I don't know where Cedar Street is! Perhaps the street was demolished for this courtyard? It sounds better than 4th Street Courtyard.

Such a great space. Drinks were strong, bathrooms could be cleaner. Overall a fun place to visit.

Small "outdoor" venue with huge bars on either side, never long lines. I wouldn't ever opt for VIP as the upstairs bar is not fully stocked and you really just have a view of the artist from behind/above so it's not worth the cost when you get a decent view anywhere in the venue.
