Host staff was beyond unprofessional here. We walked in asking for a table and there were three girls gossiping about someone's boyfriend and didn't notice we walked in. We also had to watch as people left expecting a "thank you! Have a good night" and still gossiping. We eventually had to remind about the tables and they sat us once they remembered us. We asked for a high chair and she forgot. We had to go ask again. On host staff alone we won't be returning. Very unprofessional

Overall great dining experience first time at any Cheddar's and I was very impressed by the staff our server was really attentive and we did not have to ask for anything. They serve these croissants to you as soon as you sit down. drizzled with honey butter they were amazing! I had was amazing as well as the pot pie that my wife had and my daughter ate all of the chicken strips that says it all nothing but crumbs. I would have taken a star off as the floors were pretty dirty with lots of debris but the food was just that good I could not vote four stars.

Great food. You can tell everything is fresh. Their honey butter croissants are Amazing!! I had the chicken pot pie. It had really good flavor. My daughter had the chicken tender basket and hubby had the bacon bbq burger. All great. Their peach tea was very refreshing.

WOW - a Triple Crown - Classy Atmosphere, Great Food, and very reasonable prices. They offer many 'classic' 'comfort food' menu items. Burgers under $10 many meals $11-14, Steak & Shrimp $16 and the portions aren't skimpy. So many Austin restaurants are getting too 'prissy & pricey.' We look forward to trying more choices in the future.

The food is well seasoned and tastes fine but the chicken breast in the Dijon chicken w/ mushrooms was spongy, it didn't have the texture of real chicken. It's tasted like TV dinner chicken from the frozen section. For a restaurant that is named scratch kitchen I was expecting better.

Good once again. Hot and fresh rolls when we sat down. Spinach dip was wonderful. I had the delicious chicken pot pie and guest has monte crusty. Such great comfort food!!

Horrible customer service!!! We waited at least 10 minutes to be seated because the only booth that was available in the bar area was dirty. The waitress didn't acknowledge us at all. She walked past us multiple times. The person who finally came to clean the table flopped down into the seat like she had an attitude. This is not the first time that we have experienced awful customer service. We ended up leaving because the person who was cleaning the table was moving ridiculously slow.

Cheddar's is one of my favorite chain style restaurants. The food is consistently good. But, I'm very ANGRY that they removed their onion rings from the menu. They were great. Took my mom to Cheddar's for Mother's Day as it is her 'go to' restaurant. Eunice was our wait person. Super nice and friendly. She had actually waited on my mom and nephew last month. They had great service then also. Mom ordered the Smokehouse Burger. Patty was perfectly cooked with an excellent flavor. I ordered the chicken strips with hot honey sauce. Really good amount of spice yet still sweet. It was a wonderful lunch. Cheddar's continues to be on 'My Keepers List'.

We stopped in here because our youngest said we eat Mexican too much ...ha no such thing. So in order to give him a break he chose Cheddars. Now the Margaritas off HH are pretty inexpensive on HH even less. It was super quiet we were in between shifts and the process was so smooth and the waitstaff super on top of it and friendly. We sat in a high top in the bar because my husband wanted to watch Golf and they were able to accommodate. The honey butter croissants were what Nolan Our youngest (19) pounded he also got the Buffalo Chicken wrap and really enjoyed it. We had the Cheese Curd app and you really can't go wrong there great start. I also had the tender salad tossed in Buffalo Sauce the waiter even brought extra for us on the side. So thoughtful. Salad was crispy and tasty. My husband got the Key West Shrimp and Chicken and also enjoyed it. Well made food for well made prices. With all the inflation it's really nice to get this service, and well made pleasantly sized food for the price of a petite plate elsewhere. THANKS Cheddars for delivering a great experience.
Food was a good as always at this Cheddars. We had Ribs and the Monte Cristo (my usual). Service was worse than a teenager at McDonalds. Never got drink refills never cleared dishes. Just seem very uninterested to be working at all.

We usually go on a weeknight and it is rarely crowded and food is served hot and tasty. Good prices and we are served by one of the most charismatic waiters I've ever met, Charles. He is always incredibly personal, has a good memory of what our preferences are even though we have only been there a few times, and we always leave with a smile on our face. I wish there were more vegetarian choices on the menu, but that's neither here nor there. Please give Charles a raise! In this economy of the great resignation, he could work literally everywhere and you guys are so lucky to have him and I hope you realize that.

Nothing is scratch in this kitchen .. they can't cook w/o salt or prepare anything from scratch .. I left w/o eating since I'm on a low sodium diet

The sign on the back of the restaurant says HIRING STAFF That is never a good sign. * * * The servers they have are pretty good. Lo, the lady taking care of takeout orders, was fantastic. Mega-Kudos to her. * * * The cook situation is another story altogether. Cheddar's food was always on again off again even in the best of times. Adding overworked amateur cooks to the mix doesn't help. * * * I got 1/8 of the way through my Cheddar Fries before I loaded them back in the bag and threw them out. The plate was a tasteless sodden unappealing mess. I am still a little bit nauseous from the 1/8 of the fries that I did eat.

The food is fine. Not complaining on that. However the beer list is atrocious. Please add some decent beer to the list. It such a below average list. I know beer is not everybody's thing. I know most don't order beer there. But those of us like a beer along with steak, the selection is poor and you don't server it cold. It is pretty warm and nasty. Who is in charge of this place? Maybe someone who never tasted a beer. Pathetic
