Food was wonderful and the lemon, rosemary cake was divine. Staff was friendly and professional but didn't hover.

Although, I appreciate that Chez Zee opened in the 60's, it really use some updating. Ex. Plastic flowers collect tons of dust. The bar area is lively, loved the jazz photos throughout the resturant. My last two visits the food was warm ,not hot!

We adore Sharon & runs her place like a well greased machine. Think this fun place to meet & eat might last thousands of years...?! ?✔?

I almost got the chance to eat here with the wife before the dinner rush. But unfortunately it was of time coming here got sat with no menus, no water, no server just has to walk out more than likely didn't even notice we walked out. The kids at the host stand were to busy playing in the iPad. The other customers looked like there have a good time eating food and drinking.

The food was really delicious, and I couldn’t believe how much you get for the price. It’s surprising for Austin. And the ambiance was very cute… lots of twinkly lights inside, which made me think it’d be a good place for a sweet, but not too formal date. I definitely want to come back and try other dishes. I had their French toast, which came with eggs, sausage, and potatoes.

Among the best restaurants I have tried in recent memory. Everything was fantastic, portions were generous and they offered free croissants to start which I just love. I will be back, that was some of the best brunch food I've had in quite a while. Service fantastic and complimentary valet service.

Sunday brunch, 1:PM: Seated with menus, then we wait 8-10 minutes for water & someone to take drink order. Table was clean, but floor was cluttered with food and other objects (photo). They served tasteless generic "syrup" with french toast, we declined the $5 upcharge for maple syrup. The ersatz "syrup" was served refrigerator-cold; but since the french toast was room temperature, it probably didn't matter that much. There are better brunches elsewhere.

Atmosphere great, as ever. Service good too. But food, never the best but OK, has gone downhill for some reason. The Creme Brulee for example: I could get better at Randalls across the street, which is maybe where mine came from. My companion's salad was similarly uninspired, with croutons out of a bag. My crab salad sandwich was soft and sad and almost without flavor. Good thing I ordered chips to accompany. Sorry Chez Z, I used to luv ya!

We started with the fried pickles and a slice of creme brulee French toast. Both were very good. I ordered the stuffed French toast and was extremely disappointed. I thought it would come with a creamy style of fruit in the middle. It was instead, two thick pieces of French toast (which was good) but whole pieces of fruit sliced (strawberries and blueberries). Not what I was looking for but it was okay.

I was very happy with the brunch I had here. The food is wonderful, and I left QUITE full. They have quite a variety of menu options plus the bakery list of desserts, so we also got some cake to-go. Our server whose name I cannot remember for the life of me was so friendly, courteous, and made a lot of jokes. He was attentive as well, we were happy with the service. The restaurant itself isn't huge but there's a decent amount of space between the tables and a large venue space next door to accommodate meetings and receptions etc. It's not an overly "pretty" or upscale looking place on the inside but there are a lot of Austin-y aspects to the interior design in my opinion (eg the light fixtures, patio design, and colors of the interior. Overall I think this is a great place to have brunch esp if you want to try the bakery items which I do very much recommend!

Very cute brunch/lunch spot for a girls day. Food wasn't super impressive but the ambience is really nice. The best part was the complementary croissants and strawberry butter
