Our experience this time in Chuys left us not wanting to go back. The waitress was just plain rude. As vegetarian we wanted to know about ingredients. And we could not get a proper answer without being shown frustration. This was within first 2 minutes. The quantity of sauces has dramatically reduced. A $8 bowl not even half full.Vegetarian options: Ask about mayo and chicken stock in sauces.

I never thought Chuy's would stoop so low and try to get away with "Shrinkflation". I ordered a chicken Chuychanga. It came with steak. However, that wasn't the issue. The chuychanga consisted of 4 or 5 rolled tortillas with about 5 or 6 tiny bites of steak. They obviously tried to hide the steak deficit with all the extra tortillas. It looks great until you get into it and realize there is hardly any filling. I've eaten at this Austin Chuy's location for 20 years. I feel betrayed and have sworn off Chuy's after our curbside order last night. I don't support cheaters.

Love the place, the food and the service. Wife and I usually go once or twice a month for a date day. Our go to drink is the New Mexican Martini. They have since went to premixed batches that are supper sweet and make us not feel well. And the last time they didn't even put it in the shakers or Martini glass. Please go back to the old way of making the new Mexican martinis. The bartenders around town know us and how we like it.

On this trip, I just needed to kill some time so I went to the bar to have a drink. They didn’t have Herradura, my preferred tequila, but they do have a decent selection of quality tequilas.

Chuy's is a famous restaurant in Austin that has made itself part of the city. Great food at a good price. Chuy's is very busy so it will be louder than most restaurants. It's just part of the Chuy's atmosphere.

Big Disappointment!!!The customer is right here I am upset on the 2 worker at the front that don’t take the order but definitely know how to make the customer upset after that the manager came to solve it but he definitely not In control on his worker and they should send the worker home that not how you treat customers I use to be obsessed with chuys and now I’m not going to come back here again and Im not recommending to no one to go there this place has no respect!!!

I've been going to chuys since 1984. I'm not sure I'll be back. Ok maybe for happy hour because the chips are still good.20 minute wait, which is ususlly ok, but one section was completely empty. Wow. Not enough workers? Back on the day, working for chuys was a big deal. There is no salt or pepper on the tables. Covid regulations are gone, let's move on.No regular ranch. Some people, especially out of town visitors, can't handle the heat. Maybe buy hidden valley ranch in packets.I miss the chili rellennos.Bottom line is if you are willing to wait for a limited menu and slow service and mediocre tex mex, this chuys is your place.
