We popped in about 10:25, but made it just in time for breakfast! Our order arrived less than fifteen minutes after ordering. I ordered two eggs, ham, and the hash browns and Texas toast. I did salt the eggs, but some folks may like that they can season to taste. The ham tasted great and the hash browns were a great consistency. For my S.O and I, the bill came to under twenty dollars before tip. He liked the Dan's Special, but does wish the gravy was a smidgen runnier. Heads up, it's a little tight turning into the parking lot.

Dan's Hamburgers is a quintessential Austin establishment, a true home for burger lovers. Even though I'm not usually a fan of burgers, I find myself craving theirs. A visit to Austin isn't complete without stopping by Dan's. Highly recommended!

Don't get to come here often because of where I live, but it's fascinating how amazing these burgers are and still being considered a fast food joint. One visit to a place like this makes you question why you even visit a Burger King, McDonald's, or Whataburger. Do yourself a favor and check this place out and you will give up all of the other fast food joints. ?
