Wanted pizza for a late lunch and this place popped up. As we were looking at menu, owner came over and gave us the run down. Kids ordered lunch sized pepperoni pizzas, wife customized hers and got a salad and I got the garlic and sausage pizza. Everything was delicious. Crust is definitely in my top 3 or 4 I have had. Wife raved about the balsamic and cheese in her salad. She end up getting a cannot and dessert pizza for the kids. Awesome spot for good pizza!
Good pizza, uninspired employees and no water for customers? After paying $35 for a basic pizza I then hear the owner doesn’t allow employees to give customers water to drink. That sealed the deal. Arrivederci DeSano! ? you won’t see us again!

so if he goes through with it I think every driver delivering where the short girl who thought it funny to impersonate my grandmother they keep passing around a glue factory swapping it back and forth... Pizza was a 6.5/10 at best, it’s a reasonable drunk pizza spot, but I wasn’t prepared for the fact that myself and my girlfriend would then go on to have uncontrollable diarrhea for 6 hours after eating their Pepperoni pizza. Don’t go here if you value your intestinal epithelium.

Being a foreigner in US, I struggle to find that real Italian pizza here in Austin. My friend recommended me this place and this is definitely the best pizza I’ve ever had in the states! Almost better than the ones I had in Italy ?

What a delusion! I am a huge fan and promotor of DESANO pizzeria in Burnet Rd, I think that is the Best Neapolitan pizza in the City. This is the first time I try the Downtown location; I have ordered 2 16" Margherita D.O.P., the dough was not grown well and there was basically NO buffalo Mozzarella!! Is the owner the same??? For the future I will always have my pizza at Burnet Rd location!
