We came in on a Friday night for a date night and with a toddler this doesn’t happen often. The restaurant was half full. We grabbed menus and a seat. The server came over after about 10 mins which was fine got our drink and appetizer orders…. We got our beers but then waited…waited… finally the server came back over and we asked about the apps and said we were hungry and placed a dinner order… and waited… after about 45 mins of waiting we asked the server where our food was… they said,” oh we are really backed up”… but then never followed up on whether our food was coming or not.We placed cash to cover our beers and left. I turned and noticed the server watching us walk out.. and nothing.We have been to dos olivos in buda and wimberely but this is the last time we will go or recommend any one go to the dripping springs location.Bad use of babysitting money and a waste of our time. Needless to say we were still hungry.

Was pleasantly surprised by this Bistro tucked in a strip center across from Belterra Village. They were understaffed so the service was a bit slow. But the smoked turkey sandwich with roasted bell pepper and avocado was really good. My friends also enjoyed the Burrata and Apple Pecan salads.

We have been to Dos Olivos twice now and were impressed both times with the entire experience. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the service was great. The food was delicious both times! We’ve tried most everything on the menu and would order every dish again. Truly one of the BEST food choices in the Dripping Springs area!

Everything we ordered was delicious. Enjoyed the Chicken thighs and mac n cheese. I look forward to returning and trying other items from the menu. Caught some live music by Keith Turban with a sax accompanist, really good.

What a surprise in Drip! Our new favorite restaurant. And you can't get outa there without grabbing some of the most tasty sauces and sugar spreads you can imagine! Try the steak...wonderful outside patio.
