Although the portion size was on the smaller size, the freshness of the ingredients stood out. With the first bite you could tell everything was freshly made and not something batched and put together. For fresh food, it is worth the price. Kids enjoyed the pretzel and waffle fries. I had the veggie couscous bowl and tomato bisque. Great service...

Really cool place to hang out and enjoy company. Food is amazing. Your choices are to sit outside or inside. I was there with my company so we sat inside and had some finger food with pretzels. Too bad this place is going to close in April. Really enjoyed it. Thanks ?

It’s a cool looking bar, but the “loaded” waffle fries were half-cocked at best.

There is quite a lot of space both inside and outside the store. If the weather is good, we suggest you go outdoors. There is table tennis for you to play outdoors. The beer is very good, but it’s best to check with the store clerk to see if it’s available, because a few items were out this time, but the store staff are very nice and will help recommend other beers.Overall a very chill place, recommended to visit

Absolutely useless staff. Waited 5 minutes while the them/they stared at the blank screen and just ended up leaving. Surprised they remember how to breathe.

I’m so glad this new(ish) location opened on the east side. I started going to the downtown location in 2016 and it’s been in my top recommendations for beer gardens I. Austin for anyone visiting.

I reserved through OpenTable, where I was allowed to select standard indoor seating. I called a few days ahead of time to confirm my party of 15 was seated inside, and received confirmation. Upon arrival, I was shocked to see half of the restaurant closed off for a private event, and we were told to sit outside since reservations are only for outside. I explained my situation and was met with a less-than-happy-to-help-us demeanor and no offers to remedy the situation. We were seated outside, with one heater (for a table of 15 people) and were freezing for the entirety of our dinner. Our waiter tried to help us as much as possible, being the only redeeming quality of this experience. I will not be coming back here due to the lack of customer service.

I worked here years ago at the 6th street location as an overnight baker! I haven't been back since they closed on 6th, but today my husband and I visited the 7th street location, and man, yall really blew it outta the water! I got the Fried Chicken Sandwich and a tomato bisque soup, and my husband got the Easy Italian. Both so amazing, the chicken sandwich is a 10/10 absolutely outta control delicious!!!! Soup also is a 10/10! The Easy Italian is a great version of a Muffaletta, but please bring back the Italian Beef! All in all, loved it and bringing friends and family back!

Tepid food. Tepid coffee. Very sweet wait person kept asking if we needed anything without ever noticing we were out of water. When we finally asked for more water she took the glasses away and ever came back. Kinda sums up the entire meal.

Why does this place have such a low review!!! I'm a local and this is one of my favorite low key spots to come get coffee, a load of fresh bread for dinner or just to hang and have an awesome lunch. Everything is good and I especially love the hatch sausages here or when they sell them frozen so I can bring to LA or ATL! The chef has packaged me up some special to go back to atlanta and I've always really appreciated it and keep coming back over and over for the customer service. Soooo much space and modern east austin vibes if you're not loving all the crowded places in austin. Bring the dog. Cute merch. Small private parking lot if it's not busy. The outside area in peak hours can be hard to get into without a wait but that's literally anywhere in atx these days... just make plans . Everyone is so nice here and food is fresh and good and consistent

Nice selection of sandwiches for lunch! I had the prosciutto on baguette with manchego cheese. It was excellent.

Chill spot with great baked goods and sandwiches. Really nice beer selection. I went on a Thursday so there was ample seating but you could definitely see how it could get crazy busy. The bread is excellent and I really enjoyed the grazing board (charcuterie.) Worth a stop for sure if you're in the area!

Came in at 630 and caught the restaurant in a lull. Sat down in front of Vinny at the bar and told him we were in a rush. Ordered food right away. Food came out super fast, was tasty, and we were rolling by 5650. Great job by Vinny and back of house! A+

The pretzel was excellent. It had great color and texture along with that chewy sensation when you bite into it. I would come back for the pretzel but the service I felt was lacking.
