Absolutely the best new place to eat in Austin. The food is absolutely delicious, unique and ever changing. I've been for dinner three times and brunch once. Never had anything bad. Also the price point is pretty great for such high quality food. Parking situation is terrible but that's everywhere in Austin. This is my go-to place to bring friends!I've had Dre as my server twice, he is hilarious, incredibly great at anticipating needs and his recs were fantastic. Ask for his section if you can!

Amazing place! Sat at the bar where Elliot took great care of us. The drinks were on point and the food was as well. Chef had the kitchen redo the duck because it wasn't quite right and Elliot comped us a delicious espresso martini to make up for the extra few minutes. What restaurant takes that much pride in the quality of their food? Most would have just served it. The duck was to die for. Highly recommended!

Such a cute spot for dinner! I visited for the first time in August 2023 and have been back several times since. We loved the whimsical vibe and friendly atmosphere. Great place for conversation over a family-style meal, with light music in the background. The food is innovative and takes inspiration from lots of different cuisines. Definitely elevated food, but they make it fun and approachable. The farm-to table menu changes often, so you won't get the same meal every time. But you can count on your meal to be consistently good. I've never had a bad meal or drink here!Service is fantastic; the staff know the menu well and are very attentive and friendly. 11/10 recommend!Parking: 2-hour validation in the parking lot in front of the restaurant. Plenty of overflow parking in the neighborhood behind the restaurant, as well.

Elementary sets the standard for excellent Austin food and atmosphere. The airline chicken breast blew our minds, everything we had dropped jaws. the theme is well executed and super cute.Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate gluten-free.

Great experience! I came for dinner around 7:30pm Monday of last week. Every single dish was great and our waiter did an awesome job of guiding us with the wine. We had,Food: Oysters, Roast cabbage, Scallop crudo, Gnocchi (note: there's chunks of eel in here that are delicious - not something I normally eat), Wagyu NY strip (cooked perfectly)Wine: Populis Macerated White (orange wine - so good, wonderfully funky), Chateau la Grolet (dark, tannic and exactly what I wanted)Thrilled about our new neighborhood restaurant - food, wine, ambiance and service 10/10. Will definitely be coming back.

Sat at the Chef's Counter on a Resy reservation. Nicely arranged floor plan with a good vibe, wonderful food and the kindest wait staff. After a delish burrata toast starter, the ramen risotto was incredible as was the little gems salad. Will return.Parking: Used to park free in this lot when it was for a nearby dive bar. Fortunately, Elementary validates.

The entire staff at Elementary were incredible for us to celebrate our night. Our server, Dre was knowledgeable about the entire menu which is curated to the guests experience. The gnocchi and steak were deliciousDietary restrictions: The entire staff, Dre included was very attentive to my dietary needs and reassured me that modifications could be made and double checked with kitchen.

My wife and I went here with another couple last night and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Our server Dre was very nice. He even turned down the music / changed the station from loud pop music to "lounge vibes" as there was a speaker directly over our table and right away we felt like it would be taxing to speak over.We ordered six dishes and two desserts in total: The Oysters (as an appetizer), the gnocchi, the focaccia w/ fish, the chicken with mole, the duck breast and the (Texas) Wagyu NY strip.Everything was excellent. The only dish I'd say was mediocre was the focaccia. Everything else I'd get again. The gnocchi, the duck breast, the chicken and the wagyu steak were the big winners. Each of the four of us had a different favorite protein. My wife preferred the chicken while I preferred the wagyu steak. I felt the duck breast was the best mix of meat, marinade and sauce, however. While the steak wasn't necessarily that creative, it was done so well that it was a perfect complement to the Bordeaux I was having with our entrees. The duck was an excellent pairing with the wine as well. The most unique dish overall, however, was definitely the gnocchi - it had an Indian or East Asian spice to it that was divine. It was a very original take on the dish and I'll go as far as to say it is the best gnocchi I've ever had (or at least that I can recall). The cocktail menu was solid. I got a "Smoking Paper Plane" which comes with a miniature paper airplane on the rim which they set on fire at the table - which is fun. It was kind of a welcome cross between an old fashioned and an Aperol spritz. Would highly recommend if you like old fashions and Campari or Aperol. For dessert we got the Fried Peanut French Toast and the Coconut Panna Cotta. Both were great although neither blew me away. The fried peanut french toast was definitely the most original of the two and all of us thoroughly enjoyed both.We will definitely be going back. Having been to the pizza parlor this restaurant once was, it was pretty incredible to see the space altered into an upscale restaurant.5 stars - a new neighborhood favorite!
