Great Tex Mex, but not real crazy for piccadillo flavoring. Great enchiladas and chef's special (2 chalupas with gueso and guacamole.

Having lived in NM and currently Phoenix, I found the food here very different. Maybe Tex Mex? However, it was excellent.

Over MANY years eating there and their previous location, I have never been disappointed. Once they even let me have a "never ending" until I had my fill platter of delicious tacos!! I recently checked to see if that was still possible, and IT IS! BTW, one had best remember that all their dishes are quite plentiful!!!I have both dined in and used takeout for both lunch and dinner.Parking: Not much of it, and there needs to be more handicapped parking near the door as well as at least one takeout space!

Tex-Mex in all its glory. NOT Mexican food.Lots of "nacho sauce" and not a drop of hot sauce to be had. Loved it.Very busy. Had to wait for a table at 4pm weekday...

Good enchiladas, frozen ritas. Today was a bad experience. Food was like hot. I ordered my usual senior plate. The waiter took my order. The cheese enchiladas were beef. I never heard from the waiter again. The check was never brought. I had to go to the check out counter which was unmaned. After several minutes the waiter showed up and said they bring my ticket to the table. Not usually. He showed a condescending attitude . I ordered two 3$ happy hour margaritas. I ate the senior plate which was less than 8$. 8+6 is 14$. The late delivered ticket was 21$+. I was ripped off. I gave him 25$ and left. I've been eating there since 2001. They lost my business today. One bad employee.

OG TexMex that relies on nostalgia to keep the doors open. The food and the tables share the same coating of grease. The service is efficient.

I so excited to try this place, and left so disappointed. Not only is the food super meh, but it’s also so loud, it’s hard to hear anyone you are with. It was also way pricier than I would expect.I ordered the flautas, and they came bone dry, not even sour cream or queso fresco on them. That’s never happened to me before. We also ordered guacamole and it was undersalted and missing a lot of lime and flavor. There are so many incredible Mexican restaurants in Austin. No need to spend your money on this overhyped joint.

This place came highly recommended. We just didn't didn't get it. Chips tasted like they were cooked in burnt oil, the margs were too sweet, even the top shelf, and the enchiladas were slopped on the plate without much flavor. I know people love this place, but not for us. One step above Cabana.

Did they change management, cooks? Food definitely wasn’t the same. The food was pretty bad. I got fajitas, beef enchiladas and my son got chicken tenders and fries. My initial visit last year I thoroughly enjoyed all of those items, this time there was no charro beans, only refried. The enchiladas were pretty UNflavorful. I am sad because they used to be good, something changed! I won’t revisit. :(
