Me and my friend were looking for a meal to eat after dancing all night and they hit the spot.Went here after going to a club at 6th street and portions were huge! I didn’t get to finish my lamb wrap and their cheese fries were actually made of shredded cheese so they were a little salty and greasy for me and my friend but they put actual cheese so thats to be expected, cheese was stretchy so thats a plus. I enjoyed my meal It was really delicious overall. I didn’t get to take a photo cause we were so hungry. The space here is limited because there were only 5 long tables if I remember correctly but we managed (hate to imagine if they were super busy you’d be forced to maybe take it home). Service was great, they were nice and straightforward, food came out fast. Overall, highly recommend this place for a late night meal, before or after getting your party on!

the more i try other halal places, the more i appreciate just how awesome Halal Time is. Their halal is without a doubt, the best i've had in this city, or indeed, this country.the quality and quantity of their rice dishes are amazing. i suspect it's all about the pickles. while the meats (especially the lamb and beef Shawarma) are excellent (as is their kebabs and hummus)... the authentic mid-eastern pickles add just the perfect touch of flavor. the rice is always cooked to perfection, and the vegetables are fresh and perfectly paired in the dishes.

Nothing like it used to be. Salad is now just lettuce and chickpeas. They used to have corn, amazing pickles, tons of cucumber, onions, even occasionally hummus on the side. Different owner now? $14 for a bowl from 11

My husband ate here recently and lost his phone. The owner, Sam, was so kind and helpful during a very stressful situation. Sam and his employees went out of their way to locate the phone and we are so very grateful. Fantastic food, spectacular customer service, and truly wonderful people.

This is the first place I'm visiting when I'm in town. Portions are great, totally worth the price, fresh ingredients, the falafel is made in house, and the owner is the best! Also, they're open till 4 am! Late night cravings fulfilled.

I ordered chicken over rice. A price on the menu was $11 but they charged me $12.99. When I asked why they said it’s an old price.?‍♂️As I got my order chicken was cold But rice was worm thought ?

This review is bitter sweet for me to write because I used to be a Halal Time diehard.I've eaten here a few dozen time and the owner maintained exceptional quality even at 2am.Unfortunately, the truck is now run on autopilot. I don't blame the owner, he earned it.But sadly, the food is just not nearly as good as it used to be.. Service is way worse and the wraps are very sloppy. Quality control is just not what it used to be.I don't think I'll be going out of my way to eat here like I used to.

New ownership ruined quality and taste. Not planning on going back. Falafel always was top notch in the past, it was bland and tasteless when I tasted in Sep'23

Their hours are not up to date, their food service apps hours are not up to date. On 2 separate occasions I have found them closed 5 hours before their close time. Reliably closed on the weekdays. Perfect food

Dear Halal Time, I discovered you while doing food deliveries and had to go back a few times for multiple order pickups. ( Someones popular!) Around 3:30 AM I was getting pretty hungry working late night ridesharing and decided to drive down 7th and see if yall are still open. Sure enough your neon was on and you were pretty much waiting for me to make an order. You had it out in no time handed it directly to me all warm and wrapped in foil. I got your Lamb wrap and I just gotta say... I think you and I are going to be friends! The lamb was cut thick amazing with perfect little cripy edges on it. Big chuncks of cucumber pefectly slathered with your homemade sauce. And topped with im guessing homemade pickles as well. Which by the way I want a jar of those too. (I would have posted a pic but I ate it all before I could think of it) Anway, It was perfect! You will definitely be seeing me again. I'm 100% sure of it. Thank you for being open so late.
