Burgers and Fries were great. The ahi sandwich was surprisingly delicious and sweet potato fries, and regular fries were both equally delicious. Will definitely make this a regular spot. The seating was a little confusing. Otherwise, great experience.

Well, the service and the atmosphere were nice. The food not so much. I should have listened to my kid when they said the bugers weren't good. But my wife likes this place. So I gave it a chance. I ordered a burger, nothing fancy, just lettuce and tomato. It was around $10. I thought that was a little pricey for just a burger. But , it's a gourmet burger place, I thought to myself. My kid ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and my wife ordered a vegetarian burger and some fancy pricy truffle fries. We got our food in a good amount of time . The place wasn't packed, though. I was expecting this big juciy burger , what I received was a normal sized (seemed like 1/4 pound patty ) burger on some fancy type of bun. I took a bit and was disappointed with the meat. It was dry and tasted like they took it out of the freezer and threw it on the grill , the bun was good, though. The truffle fries which I had before (leftover from the time my wife and kid ate at the place) I thought they were good but over salted. I tried them again, and this time, they were again over salted . I would've given this place another chance, but since my daughter didn't like the burgers here already, I decided that I won't be coming back to Hopdoddy Burger bar.

All I tasted was the oil no seasoning nothing but oil we had I think parmesan Brussels sprouthere was only the outer leaves of the Brussels. No hearts. So a bowl, full of brussel leaves tasting like oil.They were not cheap either. We also had the fries which also tasted like oil. I had to put lots of saracha sauce and the queso Deb I had to pour it on my fries. Granddaughter Had fries, also, and she didn't eat all of hers either because of the oil taste. It was my first time being there, I was told that the burgers are good but I don't want to take the chance . I won't be going back.

Hopdoddy has become a favorite weekly stop for us. The team at the Triangle location are super friendly and attentive. Our most common orders include the burgers which are consistently delicious and the kale salad which is also tasty.Parking: Abundant parking on street or in parking garage across the streetKid-friendliness: Very comfortable with enough background activity that our grandkids (who can be a little rambunctious at times) don’t bother other tables!

It is highly recommended to come during happy hour. Ordering a large glass of cocktails will make you enjoy the drink. We drank margaritas. The salt particles on the rim of the glass are a bit large, so you can wipe some off when drinking. The burgers are delicious as usual, and you can order the salad bowl if you don't want to eat starch. The sweet potato sticks are delicious. You can order one for everyone to eat together.
