I was scrolling Yelp looking for a good local donut place to pick up some donuts for my coworkers when I came across Howdy Donuts - turned out to be a great choice! I went in around 8:00am, and you could tell they'd already been hit by the morning crowd, but the girl working assured me she was working on more batches in the back! I told her to give me 2 dozen variety of her favorite ones and she gave me quite the assortment - chocolate cake glazed, both chocolate and strawberry sprinkles, red velvet cake, pumpkin, sugar, chocolate on chocolate glazed and blueberry glazed. My favorite was the blueberry glazed but from the many thanks and yums I received from my team, I'd have to say they were all good! Highly recommend!

My family’s go-to donut spot in the Steiner area! They are so yummy and stand up to some of the other “best” known Austin donut spots (and I’m born and raised in ATX). My father in law swears by the Apple fritter. The kids love the colorful donuts. Husband and I go for the kolaches and a standard glazed donuts. And we were surprised by how good their breakfast tacos are (but be prepared for a wait because they are made to order). We ordered birthday letter donuts for my sons fifth birthday and they turned out so cute!

It's my favorite little donut shop. I get 3 dozen from them once a month for work. I call it in pay over the phone and they have them ready to go for me every time. Good coffee as well.

Adore Howdy Donuts, we go once a week for the last 2 years. Their donuts are very light and just the right amount of sweet. Our son doesn't like cake, so every year for his birthday we order donuts for his parties. The orders are always ready and fresh day of, and they make special letters and numbers to order.
Best donuts in the area. There’s just something about the dough and glaze they use. I don’t know what it is but I feel like I’m biting into the softest cloud. The donut holes changed my grandmothers life. ?Customer service was excellent. Very friendly.

I came in this morning at the last minute to get a couple dozen donuts for work. The lady working the counter was very friendly and patient when explaining the different combinations. They had a great selection, and the pricing was very clear. I ended up having her pick out her favorites for the two dozen, and everyone at work loved them. Success! Thank you!

I've had Voodoo, Round Rock, and other famous donut shops but Howdy's glazed donuts are a hidden gem. If you want a classic donut, this place is top tier.
