Wow! This is hands down the best BBQ I have ever eaten, nothing else comes close. We had some brisket, some chicken, ribs and sausage, with "moms" jalapeño corn, smoked cabbage, beans, and potato salad for sides. Jerome, the owner, was polite and friendly and credits his uncles for his pitmaster skills. The food is off the chain, there were no lines and all expectations were handily exceeded. You are going to love this place.

Ok, y'all. I am not joking when I say this is some of THE best barbecue I've ever had. I'm a native Texan and I've had lots of bbq in my life, but this place ranks in the top 5, easy. Chicken, ribs, brisket, sausage, sides, it's all to die for. I can't wait to go back!

A tasty BBQ meat food truck hilariously parked near the vegan food truck. If you arrive later in the afternoon, then it may look closed (but ask just to be sure) or the meat selection will be limited. However, all the beef/pork is solid here, so you should be fine with whatever is left. Brisket: Smoky. Firm edges which captured all that good smoking. A tender interior. Great with the sweet BBQ sauce. Definitely my favorite meat here. Pork Ribs: Fall off the bone tender. It actually looked like a little meat fell off the bone before the ribs made it to us. Like seriously, you can just pick off pieces from the bone and dip them in the sauce. Chicken: Kinda tasted like baked chicken, but with a little extra smoke flavor. Maybe a little saltier too. I mean, it was good for chicken, but it's still just chicken. I prefer when the fattier and tougher beef and pork cuts are cooked on the BBQ. Jalapeño Corn: This seemed like cream corn, but with a few slices of fresh jalapeño thrown in. It was creamy and delicious, no doubt, just didn't seem as jalapeño-infused as I imagined it would be. Pinto Beans w/ Brisket: Now these were quite a treat. Regular old baked beans are good, but add some brisket and they're amazing. Loved that I had a big hunk of brisket on my plate then some little bits of brisket in my beans, for a double brisket experience. Potato Salad: Heavy on the mayo and a little light on the spices. It was a good neutral counterpoint to the flavorful meat, but not my top side choice.

Amazing story behind this guy. J is a great guy and makes a mean brisket. Please support his dream.

Fantastic BBQ! Ribs fell off the bone, brisket was tender and flavorful, no sauce needed! Support your local small businesses and check this pit master out!

Best rib sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. If you get Leonard out of his truck for a great conversation, even better!

This is a hidden gem for really great brisket. Not sure why people stand in line for hours at other places nearby when they can get a great brisket sandwich from J. Leonardi’s. It’s very flavorful and moist and the sandwich is loaded with meat as was the beans w/brisket. Great value for money and a great reason to not waste 2-3 hours waiting at other places. Highly recommend.

First time here, ... it's a little pricey for just a chopped brisket sandwich by itself. But must say, the sandwich was Very tasty and Delicious! (good amt of brisket also)
