We were looking forward to trying Jacoby's for Sunday brunch. We were lucky to find parking that wasn't in a huge puddle from recent rains. We were seated inside, and the noise level was quite unpleasant and it was very cold from the a/c. Perhaps outside would have been nicer. I tried the beef hash, which had a permeating sweetness from the bbq sauce that I did not enjoy, and had very little beef for the $25 price. My husband had the chicken fried steak and waffles, and wasn't impressed. One piece of the meat was very gristley. My daughter did like the avocado toast. The $12 small slice of strawberry cake was cloyingly sweet and tasted like it could have been from a box mix. Service was slow and my coffee was left empty until the end of the meal, at which point I no longer wanted a refill. Overall very disappointing, especially for the price.

Meh. Not bad, not great. If the price matched the food then it'd be at least 4 stars, but because you'll be overpaying for average taste and portions, it's a 3 star. Service and atmosphere was good, but only go if someone else is paying. Also, parking is a bit of a nightmare. They were out of valet parking so we had to park far away on the side of the road in the mud. Go early.

This place will knock your socks off. The food was awesome and the drinks were fun. I would recommend getting anything that has meat on the menu since they cut it all in house. The only issue that when you try to book group dinners the employ that services group reservations takes 3-4 days to reply so it's very difficult to organize. Also she doesn't reply to texts

Went to Jacoby‘s for a dinner with a friend. The dining area was very chilly from the AC so we asked for it to be turned down. The waitress recommended we sit outside, which we agreed to. Unfortunately there were a lot of flies so shooing flies interrupted our meal a bit. The service was good and the food was delicious, as usual. Next time we will plan for cooler indoor temperatures, though.

Fantastic experience. The food, the service, was all way better than expected. Only downside was a couple of flies that were driving us nuts, but we were outside and that's a bit out of their control.

dining area outside was very nice! food was good but my steak was tough and the migas were really soggy, but the flavor was there. my server was nice and took care of us well. overall liked the experience but the meal was expensive for how much food we got

Would not recommend for the food. Cute spot overlooking Lady Bird lake. Somewhat artificial pseudo-Southern-hipster vibe. Contrived, pricey menu. Service was perfectly fine. But food was definitely lacking. Extra-large, salty, dense biscuits with a sprinkle of runny gravy drizzled on top. Cold side of eggs. French toast turned out to be a super saccharine pound cake covered with a half cup of butter. Decent coffee and deviled eggs app. If you are planning a bachelorette party with a bunch of chicks from out of town, this will check the brunch box and you'll have some nice IG pics. Valet only. Nice idea, mediocre execution.

Great Texas flair! From the minute you walk in you’re greeted by the superb service that awaits your indulgence. We celebrated my sister’s bday with a brunch started with the warm, fluffy, and delicious biscuits and gravy shared by all 8 of us, along with the perfect scone and cinnamon roll. Portions are perfect for sharing. Chicken fried steak and waffles, Amazing! The steak hash was given ??if you like bbq sauce. Mimosas were served in cute mason jars and the large pitcher is more than enough for a group of 8. The cute store is full of great vintage things!

Delicious food, wonderful service, the Manchego Tater Tots, Mac and Cheese, Salmon, and Parmesan Gnocchi were delicious! Also a good Old Fashion if you’re into that. $6 Valet was also worth it!

Waitress was great. Very attentive and wonderful personality. The $28 chicken fried steak had too much gristle, which made some bites difficult to chew. The gravy was very good. The $45 steak was average. Asked for medium rare, and it arrived medium rare, so that was nice. The mash potatoes and frites were very good. Strawberry cake was very good.

Good quaint place to have a meal. You can't go wrong with their Wednesday all day happy hour specials. $6 valet isn't bad at all since parking might be a bit tough.

Honestly I just feel ripped off. $60 w/ tip for a beer and burger so average and greasy my hands were literally completely wet every time I touched it. Plus I had to pay $6 to park my own car. Never again.

we enjoyed the food. the stuffed rolls, fried chicken and mashed potatoes were really good! but i dont think its worth those prices ?despite it being overpriced, it's a very nice restaraunt. the main entrance made an impression, the set up was cool! we sat outside, and all the trees/nature + partial view of the river was a nice sight. service was great, employees were kind. would come again!

Never like paying for valet parking to start! Had 5:00 reservation had to wait outside at4:50! Not a good start! Very hood old fashioned s! Chicken fried steak good! My burger had no taste! Fries and garlic iolite excellent!

It was nice but the service was really slow. The burger was delicious but the crab cakes were just average. There were lots of yummy things on the menu so we'll go back to try other options.
