From the reviews, I was expecting delicious food. Giving it 2 stars because it was great portion sizes.. The meat sauce in my noodles was extremely salty. I had to throw it out. The dumplings were really thick and doughy. Food does not taste authentic Chinese at all. Gave me Americanized Chinese food court taste vibes.Also I read a review that stated tipping does not go towards the wait staff only the owners, if this is true what a shame! ????

Pork soup dumplings 10/10 by far the best I’ve tried in the Austin area. Pork and shrimp dumplings 7/10. Finally the pork chop noodles soup 11/10 broth was clean and full of flavor, pork was falling off the bone and the noodles were cooked to perfection. 100% recommend this place. Its was worth the 1.5hr drive.

This place has amazingly freshly made food. Service here is simple, you come in and order, sit and they bring out the food to you. You can get a hand made dumpling sampler platter to see which kinds of filled ones you like. Or order my favorite fried pork dumplings. They have beef or chicken soup with handmade noodles, be prepared to share though, u get a lot. They gots so many options of things to try, I've tried almost everything and some are hit or miss for me. This place is not very big and obviously word of mouth is what keeps this place busy. This place is pretty busy all the time, so you may need to come early or during non peak times. Give this place a try, you can't go wrong.

Ordered delivery while I was visiting Austin and this was one of the best meals I had all week. I ordered a variety of dumplings and loved everything I tried! The lamb noodles were good too, but dumplings were definitely a highlight. I ordered pork soup dumplings, assorted dumplings, and crab dumplings. Beef burrito was also good, but a bit heavier than I expected (more like an entree than an app and probably could have done without).

Everything about this place is amazing. From the food to the atmosphere. I ordered the spicy noodles and also tried my friends fried rice and dumplings which were incredible. One of my new favorite restaurants in Texas. Very affordable and large portions and great taste. Can’t really find much restaurants like these anymore.
I really enjoyed their soup dumplings. It is not a fancy looking place which tells you that the food must be good and it is!

This is a unique hole in the wall find! I highly recommend!Julie’s Noodles gets very busy, so when you come, it may be difficult to find seating as it’s self seating. It is however definitely worth it.I had the beef stewed noodle soup, along with pork and cabbage dumplings. The noodles are made fresh and everything was very tasty!After my meal at Julie’s Noodles, it left me in awe! I couldn’t wait to come back! This is now one of my favorite new spots!
