Well, that was my first time at this location, and well... Nope. Nah. There were so many choices for our guests to join us for brunch, and this one was just fail after fail. The food was great, but the service was surprisingly terrible. The orders came out at different times, and some of them were at the wrong temperature. Despite asking for more refills on drinks from our table, we were ignored so much that we had to get up and make the request at the bar. But ok, the food was great otherwise. Skip. It's not worth the wait if you see 20 people waiting outside. I can't even suggest takeout because there is only one line for people picking up their food, trying to get on the waitlist, or trying to show they got a text that their table is ready. But yes, the food is good. The manager was nice and tried to fix it, at least. We just don't want to go through that again.

The food was good but our server was horrible. I told her no lemon in my iced tea and she still put it in there. We had to remind her to get items we had asked for and she still forgot to bring some of the things we asked for.

Disappointed. I never got more coffee despite asking for it.I I had to leave my table and approach the bar. They never brought out the child plate but everyone else got their food. Some of the food was room temperature. Too many issues. I'm pretty sure they just are in a bad phase but ugh

I've been in Austin for over 20 years and Kerbey Lane still remains my favorite place to go for local comfort food. The service is great - easy, not rushed, and kind people work there. They are an inclusive business and their staff seem happy at work. The food is always delicious and consistently prepared well & fast. My dog is always welcome on their patio. I love the coffee. If you're looking for authentic, casual Austin (not some overpriced "bourbon-infused chicken and waffle concept" where you need a reservation a year in advance), go to Kerbey. They know what they're doing. Also the pancakes. Lord have mercy. ?

First time here— our waiter Tyler was the best! The lemon poppy French toast, migas, chocolate chip pancakes, and hash browns were our favorites at the table

I love this place! Their Kerbey Queso is out of this world and an absolute MUST. They have gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options that are Delicious! The staff is fantastic, the vibes are great, just a perfect little spot for brunch!

I must be invisible. I waited. I asked to be seated. I waited 15 minutes at the table. No service. No coffee. No meal. The couple in front of me and the couple behind me were greeted seated and served. I waited. I left. Immediately, another couple was seated in my place.

I have to say, for me everything was great. The chai tea was delicious and I'm very picky about my chai tea. The gluten free pancakes were just right and so were my over medium eggs. The waitress was a sweetheart. My only small complaint was the fruit bowl didn't taste very fresh but I can live with that. Definitely my favorite place to eat breakfast from now on. Highly recommended!

Fast, attentive service! Food was very good. In our party, 3 of 7 people ordered the lemon poppyseed French toast and loved it! I had the cowboy benedict -- really enjoyed it!

Man, this place has really gone downhill. We spent $100 on breakfast a couple of days ago and it was awful. Two plates of scrambled eggs (ice cold), pancakes (ice cold and NO BUTTER came with the plate), mocha coffee (undrinkable), and latte with soy milk (how can soy milk curdle??). Two of the dishes (one an omelet and the other chicken and pancakes) were edible, but nothing remarkable. The only reason we didn't act out and send everything back to the kitchen was because our waitress was so kind. She tried, but the kitchen wasn't cooperating. I remember back when this place cared. I think we'll just go to the original on Kerbey Lane or the located on W. William Cannon. S. Lamar does not have it together.
