Get the soup dumplings! You won't regret it. Oh they also have parking. Win win for Austin.

One of our favorite places! Make sure to make a reservation. Soup dumplings and duck are the best! The restaurant is a little noisy and a little too dark inside.

Oh my goodness! We were so happy we had the opportunity to stop by and indulge in Lin’s cuisine. The dim sum was like a soft pillow of flavor with every bite. Our volcano shrimp was sweet and the pecans added a great crunch. We also ended up getting the akaushi beef ? crispy on the outside and smooth in the inside. Probably the best part was the service though! The plates were taken away as soon as we were done, the waiter Martin checked on us a couple times, had immense knowledge about the restaurant and was so very kind! What a great introduction to the Lin Dynasty ? Can’t wait to try them all!

They master the craft of service and flavor. Six stars if I can. Give them a visit and experience it. The soup dumplings and stick rice were great.

Don't let the humble facade of this Lin's outpost on W 6th. The cuisine is nothing short of a bold proclamation to the throne of authentic Chinese culinary rule over central Texas. Amid the barbeque, tacos, chicken tender stands, hamburgers, and all that is Texas...Lin's campaigns to demonstrate to Texans how delightful a change of pace and palette can be. Try the soup dumplings first. The char sui is succulent and arouses the senses.Remember, next time you are in Austin, any assumptions you may have had about the absence of great Chinese fare in Central Texas no longer are valid. Come take in a one of a kind experience, not found for least 200 miles in any direction from Austin.

The food was good (great even) but service was horrible. Felt like a huge inconvenience to even be eating there. The waiter was rude, forgot our drinks, forgot our soup, etc. just overall a horrible experience. Beautiful patio though and really great hot and sour soup.

Amazing soup dumplings! My only wish is that Lin’s serves more non-alcoholic beverage options.

On vacation and went here to try their soup dumplings. Some of the best I've had. We ordered a few other dishes to share. Notably, the general tso chicken was great, too. Slightly crispy and the quality of chicken was nice.Going 4 stars on the service because the wait time given to us wasn't accurate and im not sure if we would have got called to our table if we didn't go back in to check.Once we were seated, service was nice.

Lin’s has the best soup dumplings in Austin. However, we consistently have bad service here and leave slightly disappointed. Tonight, our waitress accidentally dumped an entire glass of water on my boyfriend and he was soaked the rest of the meal. The books we bought before dinner were wet. Our waitress apologized but said “it’s just water”. Accidents happen, but we shouldn’t have to complain and whine to receive decent service. Probably won’t be back for a while.
