We enjoyed our dinner at Oseyo. Our favorite dishes were the fried chicken, japchae (vegetable heavy) and kimchi fried rice. We also liked the pickled vegetables in the ban chan. Since we read the reviews, we knew it would be trendy and slightly pricey and not hole in the wall Korean. Given those expectations, we enjoyed it a lot. Also loved the cocktails especially the spicy mango margarita. Got parking in the lot to the side of the restaurant due to an early reservation but it might be hard to find parking at peak times.

You will like this place if you are a tech bro. I have nothing else to say. Hate the vibes it looks like The Menu (ft. Anya joy) set. Could def get killed in here in a thriller

Tried out Oseyo because it's a really popular Austin spot for Korean food. All the workers were really friendly and service was fast. We had Anna and she was incredibly kind, took time explaining things on the menu, and was just great overall. There's a small parking lot surrounding the restaurant, which is nice. The restaurant itself is pretty big; indoor and outdoor spaces are aesthetically pleasing and very spacious. We got a non-alcoholic pear drink and it was really good. Unique and fruity juice, very light. The vegetable dumplings were also pretty tasty. The best thing we ordered was definitely dessert. The Milk Tea-Ra-Misu was AMAZING. Texture was perfect and the taste was unique since it's made with oolong tea instead of coffee. At the end of our meal we also received a coupon for their brunch menu!

The Kalbi, the dukbokki, the japchae, the kimchi jjigae, literally everything is so good. Service is always good, and the restaurant is cute and great for small dinners or group meals.

I've been to Oseyo three times now and have always had a great experience! The decor is fun, they have a lovely outdoor patio as well as the intimate indoor setting, and the food is delicious. The only menu item I've tried that I didn't love was the Jjajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce) but I'm sure it was prepared great- just was outside of my personal flavor preference Always good to try new things though! All the apps are great, the Bibimbap is delicious, but my personal favorite is definitely the Kimchi Bokkeumbap (kimchi fried rice with pork and a fried egg on top)- I could eat this every time I visit. I do find the menu a bit pricy but they are good portions and I usually have leftovers for lunch the next day! The only negative I've experienced was the last time we went I ordered a fried appetizer (I can't find it on the menu now) and the interior was still a little frozen. I brought it to the attention of the server and they replaced it quickly with a perfectly fried one and it was quite tasty.

The service and ambience at Oseyo were excellent, but I found the food to be a bit overpriced. Loved the cocktails, and I think this would be a very cute date spot.

Absolutely amazing. Went for dinner and dare I say I wish I could come everyday if I could! I was impressed with the quality food, including the drinks. Our waiter was excellent in service. Really impressed by the interiors and overall service! Bravo!! Coming back to try the rest of the menu! We made reservations just in case but wasn't needed for a Thursday evening.

Instead of Oseyo, it should be GA-SEYYO. All the banchan and main dishes were overly salty and the service was slow. I wouldn't recommend this place to Koreans that are used to Korean restaurants. I think we as Koreans all have set expectations on when it comes to the saltiness and the timelines of the food being ready and this place was way off. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe the restaurant was just having a bad day, but it wasn't just one dish that was very salty, it was everything! We ordered 4 main dishes. I mean no disrespect to the owners but people, please, this is not what Korean food is supposed to taste like! I feel uneasy that non-Koreans are coming to eat here and think this is what Korean food is suppose to taste like. It's not!

I was pretty disappointed with Oseyo after seeing it all over social media. I think it is over priced Korean food with watered down flavors. There are so many other authentic Korean places with flavors that actually pack a punch in the Austin area. Parking is pretty limited in their lot. The lighting and service was good but the music made it feel like a club instead of a weekday dinner.

We had a reservation set for 7pm and our food did not come until 8:30. It just really sucked having to wait that long. Also a dish came out with egg when we informed them we of an egg allergy which made the food take even longer. Didn't expect this kind of experience from a restaurant that makes their food so expensive? The hot bibimbap was 4 dollars more expensive than the cold but it was a smaller portion? A lot of concerning choices here. Birthday ruined.

Fried chicken is to die for. Bulgogi was great too!

there was an attempt to make it a fine dining experience. for me it lacked value as lot of menus felt expensive than creative. don't get me wrong it was very delicious.

The atmosphere was very dark and cozy and the server was very attentive! What I'm disappointed in is the food and how long it took for the food to come out. Bossam: very delicious fried! Bibimbap: the rice was mushy at the top and overcooked at the bottom. It wasn't well seasoned, so it tasted a little bland with just the gochujang sauce. Jajangmyeon: the serving size of this dish can feed up to 3 people! It was really salty. Jajangmyeons I've tried is a little sweet and salty, but this was too salty for me that I couldn't finish it. Kimchi Jigae: It was delicious, but this dish was salty as well.

Oseyo is an upscale Korean restaurant in downtown Austin. We came here for dinner during a bachelorette weekend. I highly recommend making a reservation especially if you're a large party. The menu had traditional Korean dishes but some with a fusion twist. It's best to go family style with their dishes. Out of everything we tried the tong dak (fried chicken) was my favorite. The breading was thick and crispy and tossed in a sweet and spicy marinade. The rest of the dishes we ordered were okay. The jjajangmyeon was a bit bland and there were more vegetables than actual noodles. While the ambiance of this place is very hip and modern, I much prefer the familiar and comfortable feeling of a traditional Korean restaurant.

Everything we tried was fantastic and the service and ambiance was delightful. Definitely wish we could have spent more time here, such a great place to relax and meet with friends
