This is my 2nd time at Lupe Tortilla, 1st time in this location though.I did have an issue the 1st time I ate at Lupe and upon leaving a negative review, I was contacted with a lovely manager who gave a gift card so that I could give it a second chanceToday I come here to say that this time was much much better! Food was delicious, service was great and our experience was wonderfulThank you for the gift card and giving us a chance to come backWe recommend it now!

While the food is good, it is quite expensive for what you get. Service is always great, amazing staff, except they tend to be on the slow side. Waiters will disappear on you for a while.

Sunday I took my friends visiting from Houston to have a nice Mexican food, but they told us the waiting time was 35 minutes, and agreed to wait. After 40 minutes waiting we asked and told us wait 10 more minutes. After 1 hour waiting and starving we ask to speak with the manager and he said that there were other people waiting longer than us (what a consolation) and said that our table was being cleaned. So we wait almost 1:30 to be seated! What a terrible experience!! Never again!

This is such a great place to grab a drink and some chips n salsa (or their excellent pinto bean dip)!If you're super hungry, nothing on the menu will disappoint. Great service, nice bar and cool patio.

Don’t believe the Google info about current wait times, or when you click on the “find a table” link. Google said “not too busy” and the other link said “no wait, come on in”. Wait time was 20 minutes for 2 people. Call and make a reservation.

The bartender Michael is probably the least attentive person I’ve seen behind the bar. Grant it he’s responsible for mixing all drinks for the dining room but the guests at the bar is also his responsibility. We were asked once if we wanted to order which we ordered margs (didn’t get the remaining margarita in the large shaker) and never heard a word from him again. After waiting for his attention for 30 minutes, he just puts the check onto the bar top with no words. I guess that’s our cue to get out. We'll have to pick up dinner on the way home.

The 'Dark Side' I've been coming to Lupe's since it opened, and have always been impressed with the food and great service, however the service has dwindled severely since the pandemic. There are 4 seating areas at Lupe's - patio, bar, main dining area inside adjacent to patio, and the 'Dark Side' which is a drab, dank room sectioned off from the main restaurant and facing the highway. We stopped in Friday at 4:30 and asked to sit in the main dining area which is bright and festive, and had plenty of empty tables. We were told there were not enough servers for us to sit there. We then requested to sit in the bar area and were told there were not enough bartenders for us to sit there. Off we were led to the 'Dark Side', with a first attempt to sit us at a tiny 2-top along the wall next to the restrooms. We pressed for a booth and were reluctantly given one. Our waitperson was efficient, but never offered dessert, or to-go boxes. I got the feeling we were an afterthought. One thing that had always been a bright spot at Lupe's was having a manager stop by the table - this used to happen on every visit! Not anymore. Add to that the long wait for drinks and I just don't want to come here anymore. Sad.

Took my friends from Seattle they loved it!!!! The food was so good and the vibe was great. But it took so long time to get the foods. We waited about 40mins even after getting the guacamole and chips :(

Past 2 times dining here, the chicken fajitas have been overcooked to where the onions are black or missing the onions altogether.
