Pretty solid spot for a reasonably priced bowl of ramen. Everything tastes pretty good. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is not what we were looking for, as it's a bit dim inside of the restaurant. Felt a bit humid inside as well. Service was relatively fast, even though most things were self serve

This food is amazing! And they are so helpful, sweet and accommodating. The chicken karaage was AMAZING. Dark meat with a dip of mayo and a lemon slice. EAT IT. The pork belly chasu is also incredible.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options!

Walked in just now and there's a strong sewage smell in the restaurant. There was only one party sat and they were laying down on the bench. I can't review the food, but the smell alone was too much and I had to walk out. Also, nobody came to help and there were several parties waiting. We stuck around for a few minutes but then left and got food at the food truck next door.

It’s been a few years since I came here, but I always loved the ramen here. I miss it and would come back for sure.

Stay open until your close time like every restaurant on the planet. If you don't want late tables change your hours to close earlier. You're already operating on less hours since covid.

BEST RAMEN HANDS DOWN!! ✨ We live 4 hours away and still make time to travel just to have their ramen.

Love this place! I get the Sapporo at regular thickness and the employees are also super nice. My favorite ramen place in Austin!

Alright, buckle up for a wild ride 'cause I've got a story for you about Michi Ramen and how we got there. So, picture this: my wife and I are in town for the Jo Koy stand-up gig, right? We're pumped, ready to laugh our socks off. After the show we didn't know getting an Uber was like trying to summon a unicorn. Four cancellations and an hour and a half later, we finally snag one, mind you we're in 40-degree weather, drizzle, and wind that could blow you over the border wall. But hey, my wife's a tropper, so we roll up to Michi Ramen, the only ramen joint open 'til midnight (that I saw on Google lol). Now, my buddy had the audacity to call it "trash," so you know what? Telling me something is trash only makes me go there faster. #ChallengeAccepted.Turns out, no dine in, take out window only + there's a 20-minute wait – maybe 'cause the food's so good or the chef's taking a blinker break, who knows? But let's get to the juicy part: our order's up, and our Uber's waiting outside like a getaway car.Back at the hotel, we dive into our ramen, and guess what? It's freakin' delicious! My buddy's dead wrong – that egg was the MVP, and the karaage? Still crispy despite its travels in a take out box.The broth? Heavenly. Rich. Deep. The noods? I could taste EACH one. The protein? Thick. Even the little veggies were on point. So, here's the kicker: the wait? It's 'cause the food's bomb, not 'cause the cook's tuned up off his dispo pen.Long story short, Michi Ramen, you proved my friend wrong, and we're lovin' every slurp of it! Cheers to good eats and even better stories!

I think this is the best ramen around. So fairly priced and delicious. The broth is rich but not oily. They don’t skimp on the egg or pork belly either. So filling and satisfying it’s above tatsuya for me ??‍♀️

My boyfriend and I came here for a late lunch yesterday. Unfortunately, there were a few groups who ordered ahead of us, and one had a party of 4. We were super frustrated to have been waiting for our food for about hour, especially bc neither of us had eaten since breakfast and it was so cold inside the restaurant. The girl who took our order came around to us and apologized for the wait, and even offered us free drinks or free mochi for the trouble. While we ended up not taking her up on her offer, we really appreciated how kind she was to come up to us. Now- THE FOOD. It was by far the best ramen I have ever had. If I hadn't been so hungry coming in, I wouldn't have minded waiting an hour for our food. It was that good. I hope they work on their wait times, whether that be a staffing problem or something else. If you don't mind waiting a while for great ramen and bringing a jacket (and maybe even a blanket) I recommend stopping by!

Amazing ramen and great portion size at an impeccable price. Super on par with the more sensationalized (and expensive) spots in town. They are so great. Recommended a billion times on food quality alone!

Great late night option! I was hungry and didn’t want fast food. Saw that Michi was open until 3 am! Was so happy I could get delicious ramen so late at night. Ordered pick up and it was done in 10 minutes. Person at the counter was nice. Food was delicious and packed nicely for to-go!
