I live in this area but I only have been here twice. Their food has a lot of room to improve… more authentic Japanese food and less American Japanese food

Not the best. Presentation was good. Sushi taste not fresh. Service was lacking. I kept having to ask for things. Restaurant seemed understaffed. The place itself is okay. I don't understand how someone can ask for a 22% tip when they just brought me my food. Overall, if you're in the area, choose another place.

Perfect place for Japanese food. Spectacular sushi, delicious yakitori (like the grilled chicken skewers), and Sapporo on tap. What more could you want?Don’t miss the house salad with the miso dressing. If it weren’t rude, I would have licked the bowl.

They brought us incorrect food, the tea was cold, they forgot about our edamame and they were just talking not taking care of the customer first and last

I was very pleasantly surprised by this small location. I had been wanting to try it for awhile and finally went with a coworker at lunch. I got the chicken katsu bento and her the sushi combo. Hers looked like really good quality nigiri and my bento was filling and delicious. I can tell they take pride in their food; the roll, tempura, and miso soup were all foundationally great, which are three of the items I typically use to judge a restaurant the first time I go. I will definitely be coming back to try more of the sushi and highly recommend you try this hidden gem as well.Parking: We went for lunch and parking was plentiful. It's in an apartment complex with public parking within it. Not sure the parking at for dinner, but plenty of spots for lunch.
Sushi was great .. my kids like something which is crunchy and we found it. We love sushi here, hands down. We also ordered chicken fried rice and soup both were salty, kids instantly said that. Waiter was extremely friendly and easy going. Note that it did not passed the recent inspection which is a RED flag really. Hope they fix

Worst sushi I’ve had - everything was either hard or warm and mushy. Didn’t help to see the big red sign on the door that read “Williamson county health department rates this restaurant as unsatisfactory” ?

We called, and told them that we were coming for a party of three, The gentleman was very kind and assumed us we should not have any wait, and to just come in, upon arrival, they had a group of 2 walk-ins take the table for 4 in front of us and sat at a table of four and made us wait, standing in the door way. Being very polite is not enough when you’re in the hospitality business, being transparent will bring your customers back, and unfortunately, they were not transparent with us. We waited over 20 min and we did not get seated. We decided to leave.I was a repeat customer, that will never go back.

Hands down the best sushi in Austin. Traveled to Japan less than a year ago and this is on par with my Japan experience. Fish is tender, fresh and tasty. All the employees are kind, welcoming and attentive. The bluefin o-toro is something else entirely, it's a must for splurging!
Some of the best curry I’ve had.
