Reservation for six people. We were greeted and quickly seated at a nice booth table. Our waiter, John, served us and I would like to think that he was having an off day. We ordered drinks to start our night and immediately we could sense an attitude from him as if our questions were bothering him. Once we placed our orders, he was MIA from our table. We had to call other waiter/waitress walking by to get refill of our waters. Drinks took a while so did the lobster bisque and other starters we ordered. They all arrived like minutes before main entrees arrived. Food was average, drinks were not extraordinary and the service less than mediocre. So many other restaurants in the area with so much to offer for less. I will not consider it or recommend as a restaurant with the standards expected for any type of celebrations.

I was there with a group of about 18 people after a business meeting. We had a private room, and our head server was Eli. He was very professional and helpful right from the start.We have had quite a few business dinners, and we realize how difficult it can be to efficiently serve such a large group. Eli made it look easy!The food was fantastic, everything was served on time, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want great food and great service!

We recently celebrated a small wedding reception in the Capital Room at the Perry's Steakhouse in Downtown Austin. We had a wonderful celebration and the staff at Perry's accommodated all our requests making the event special and the entire evening was flawlessly executed! The event coordinator, Kim Silvert, was very professional and nice to work with. She guided us through the entire process from menu planning, selecting drinks for a customized bar menu and helping to design a flexible timetable to allow for all the wedding reception activities making the evening stress-free and fun. We were also allowed to set-up decorations, centerpieces, video equipment earlier in the day to create a pretty wedding atmosphere. The hors-d’oeuvres were tasty and beautifully presented, the dinner was delicious and had choices to please everyone, and the staff lead by Myka were all outstanding. I would highly recommend this Perry’s for any special occasion.

My husband and I ordered the Perry’s ribeye steak $99 and I ordered the twin lobsters tails $58. The atmosphere is appropriate for high end steak house. Our waiters were excellent with customer service. They were attentive and friendly.The steak described as the best marbled cut. Our was dry, tough, very expensive for poor quality. I had better steak at Costco.The lobster tails even worse, it definitely not fresh - dry lobster over seasoned with too many things. We had brussel sprouts was good, well seasoned and good portion. Over all, I think we got cheated in the cut if our steak and our main course was not worth the over priced.
