My sister and I recently visited Picnik, and I must say, the experience far exceeded our expectations. For those navigating the challenging waters of dietary restrictions, Picnik shines as a beacon of hope and deliciousness. This modern café caters to a diverse array of dietary needs, including paleo, vegetarian, and especially gluten-free options, making it an ideal spot for individuals with celiac disease like my sister. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance made us feel right at home. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to understand our dietary needs, offering recommendations that were both safe and tantalizing to our taste buds. It's rare to find a place that so effortlessly accommodates such a wide range of dietary preferences with genuine care. The menu itself is a testament to Picnik's commitment to inclusivity and health. Not only were we treated to a variety of gluten-free options, but the availability of bone broth, an excellent selection of wines, beers, and artisanal coffees rounded out a menu that could satisfy any craving without compromise. The food, oh the food! Each dish was a masterpiece of flavors, fresh ingredients, and thoughtful presentation. It's evident that Picnik values quality and creativity, delivering dishes that are as nourishing as they are delightful. In conclusion, our visit to Picnik was nothing short of extraordinary. For those with celiac disease or anyone in search of a dining experience that prioritizes health, inclusivity, and incredible flavors, Picnik is a must-visit. We left with full hearts and satisfied palates, already planning our next visit. Thank you, Picnik, for making dining out a joyous occasion once again.Dietary restrictions: Celiac Friendly

Food was good. Too much sauce on the pepper steak, but it was tasty. Service was outstanding.

As a loyal customer and health professional, I’ve frequented Picnik in Austin for their high-quality food and commitment to health-conscious options. However, my recent experience has left me thoroughly disappointed. While the food quality remains commendable, the pricing structure is extraordinarily poor. Paying $7 for a mere 2 ounces of chicken and $15 for a paltry 4 ounces of cashew queso feels exorbitant, especially considering the portion sizes provided. As someone who values nutritious, wholesome meals, I expected better value for my money.Adding insult to injury, Picnik imposes a 5% service fee for pickup orders. This additional charge feels unjustified and only serves to further diminish the value proposition for customers.Despite my loyalty to Picnik and appreciation for their dedication to healthy dining options, I can no longer justify the inflated prices and unnecessary service fees. As a health professional, I understand the importance of fair pricing and transparent business practices. Unfortunately, Picnik’s recent decisions have fallen short of these standards.Regrettably, I must bid farewell to Picnik as a patron. Until they reconsider their pricing model and service fee policy, I will be exploring alternative dining options that offer better value for my hard-earned money.

When you've been going to this establishment for 3 years almost weekly and conducting a bunch of your business meetings there as well and you ask if you could park in the curbside spot because it's so darn busy (Because after three years, you know that those curbside spots are NEVER always full)But 3 hostesses about half your age jump down your throat all together saying nope, cannot park there, because those spots are always filled.....Pretty much guarantees that you will never go back. I know Austin is busy enough now that you don't need my business, but you did lose it today.

Wait time was too long for a simple pickup.

What a waste of time.... Called as we were driving over to see if they had a walk in table available which they said absolutely and then said they couldn't seat us when we got there. I hope management figures out how to deal with the incompetent people working their front area.

The food is very tasty and fresh. You do pay for that quality but it’s clear they use top-quality ingredients.

GLUTEN FREE FRIED CHICKEN!! Love all the food that I normally can’t eat because I am gluten free! We had such a lovely brunch here and enjoyed the food and drinks. I would go here every day if I could but the price is prohibitory. We took our dogs and the back patio was a nice atmosphere.I would recommend the hummus with crudités!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian, vegan options abound.Parking: Parking can be limited.

???? ? ?????.A unique menu requires special attention. The food here is about what you’d expect from a place like this - gluten-free, peanut-free, and very mindful of allergies - this place doesn’t lack in the flavor department.I got the bison burger. My bun, almost like a muffin - was soft and flaky. Under it, a smooth umami sauce and a fried egg. The bison patty was not as chewy as beef and well seasoned. Overall, a solid but not heavy burger overpriced but satisfying at $18. No sides unfortunately. The breakfast tacos were also well seasoned and while I only had a bite, it was a great bite. Pricey, but generally worth the price of admission.Would visit again and enjoy a brunch here.

My friends and I had the most wonderful experience with our server, Saif. He really went above and beyond to accommodate us after we had an additional person join our group unexpectedly, and he was very attentive to our requests. Loved our food, too, and the restaurant is super cute. Can’t wait to come back!Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten-free and no seed oils (everything is fried in avocado oil!)
