Located in Valero's "Weird" gas station, pollo has become the go to restaurant for myself and several coworkers. A primarily Spanish speaking workforce, but they do have a could have very pleasant ladies who do speak English, as well as one of the grill cooks. Everyone greets you with a smile. And the food is made to order!! Though it is inside a gas station, there is some dine in seating. Definitely with a visit. The carne asada tacos and the half chicken meal are my recommendations

Amazing chicken fajita and beef fajita tacos. Seasoned wonderfully with perfectly cooked onions and peppers as toppings. The restaurant and Valero it's in was very clean and evidently newly opened in the past couple months. Lots of Tex-Mex/Mexixan menu choices from tacos, full roasted chicken, and agua frescas. Staff was friendly, attendant, and quick to prepare my meal. And to top it all off, it was a great value for only $9 for three tacos. I'll definitely be back!

Wow! The most tasteful and delicious grilled chicken, the marinade and outer seasoning is to perfection. Every mouthful it's bursting with flavor, the sauce is to die for. This is most definitely a must-try. I've been in the culinary industry for over 40 years and I can confidently say it ranks amongst the best chicken I've ever had in all of Austin!
