Service sucked, menu mediocre, poor seating, air conditioning too cool. Food was boring. I would have preferred McDonalds! I have no clue why people think that this place is special! Go anywhere else!

The food was good but the options were just okay. The sausage roll tasted like a meat ball. It was loud but the service was great!

One of the best cafes I’ve been to in Austin as someone who’s been here for over a decade. Some of the best food paired w amazing coffee. If you can eat pork, you HAVE to order the potato hash

We went here for a quick brunch with our large group of twelve people, and they managed to accommodate us promptly despite being very busy on a public holiday morning. Their attitude was excellent, and we felt warmly welcomed. The wait time for our orders was slightly longer than expected, which was understandable given our group size and the restaurant's full capacity. However, the food itself was excellent—well-presented, fresh, expertly prepared, and delicious. The ambiance was upscale, modern, and environmentally conscious. The restrooms were clean, there was ample parking, and they even provided toys for older kids.As for the service, it was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making it easy to get the waitress' attention whenever we needed something. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again!

Good coffee. They offer so many options for coffee and pourover options. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. The barista was attentive and kind. I would visit again if I am in South Lamar. Among the top 4 coffee shops in Austin. They provide a unique experience and its a vibe.

My favorite breakfast in town. The staff is always friendly and engaging. Everything I've had here has been stand out. I've taken multiple people from out of town and it's usually the place they talk about after they leave. Great selection of coffee.Vegetarian options: They usually have a few veg options, the avo toast is the best. Better than anything you'll find elsewhere in town. Trust me

The coffee was great but serving it in a glass for dine in made it difficult to hold and drink right away. They didn’t have any pastries available around 7:30am, so if you want baked goods, I’d recommend arriving a little later if you can.The space itself was beautiful with lots of natural light, and the servers were all gems. Huge parking lot but gets full very fast.Last note for parents with small kiddos: the high chair provided was pretty hard to use (compared to any other restaurant we’ve been to) so try to bring a stroller instead for some peace of mind.

I think I've left maybe two food reviews in my entire life, but after 5 visits to Proud Mary, each time trying something new, I felt I had to for this place. At the advice of a coworker, I checked them out, and it's quickly become my absolute favorite place for lunch. Whether I have their scrambled egg roti, miso leek toast, grilled broccoli cornbread, or just their eggs on toast, everything has been ridiculously good (seriously cannot recommend their grilled broccoli cornbread enough). For a picky eater like me, their entrees sound way too adventurous, but I've yet to try one I didn't absolutely love. The chef is clearly a genius, their coffees and teas are delicious, and the staff is ridiculously nice every time I visit, patiently answering all my stupid questions. I can't recommend this place enough.

Proud Mary is a gift. Their food and coffee is so delicious and thoughtful. Don’t miss the pork belly hash! Their staff offer the absolute epitome of hospitality. Talking to them is like a warm hug of kindness. And the music is always a vibe. Proud Mary is a can’t miss spot if you’re visiting Austin and want an amazing coffee or delicious Aussie brekky.

Scrambled egg Roti was awful. Food came out COLD and the eggs were not cooked properly (partially raw and cold) veggies were cold making the eggs cold. I was not happy with this meal. Do not recommend. Only ate a couple of bites and asked for the menu back to order a smoothie “Dusk til Dawn”. My coffee Emporio Estate was excellent. DO NOT GET THE Scrambled Egg Roti. It’s not cooked properly. Today is March 12, 2024 Tuesday.
