We are die hard fans of ramen tatsuya, but we didnt enjoy their curry nu-skool ramen at this location. The flavor was very diluted unlike their research boulevard location which keeps their taste consistent. The quantity of broth was less as well, we struggled to eat their dry ramen with less broth.

Really great ramen place in Austin. The curry nu skool is fantastic. Also got the spicy edamame which was 10/10, best I’ve ever had. Only cons are the wait and wish they had more vegetarian options.

Super yummy ramen! The broth for the OG and mi so hot were unique and very tasty. The ramen noodles had an odd texture, but not a deal breaker. Food took some time to get to the table. Staff was pretty friendly. Definitely a great experience overall though.

We sat down and waited 45 minutes to get our 2 ramen bowls. The table next to us sat down 10 minutes after us, received, and almost finished their food by the time we got ours. The girl with the short, short hair walked past us and looked at us 4 times while we were waiting for our food and NEVER helped out. A guy came to check on us after my boyfriend walked up to see where our food was at. THEY COMPLETELY FORGOT OUR ORDER. Eventually, after the guy checked in, we promptly received our order.. but incomplete. I was hoping for a beer on the house for the inconvenience. But nope.Ramen was also SUPER salty ?

Good for the price.Everyone was nice.Had a weird experience as none of the employees really ever make eye contact with me which did feel strange.

I had the most disgusting interaction of all my dining experiences here at this location. After briefly using the bathroom urinal, a worker named Miles followed in directly after me to also use the restroom. I returned back to my table where my date was waiting for me, and we received our food. Less than a minute later, Miles approached our table and said “next time you pee all over the toilet seat, make sure you clean it up.” I felt sick, shocked and appalled that an employee would try to embarrass, shame and accuse me of making a mess that was not mine in front of my date. Mind you from what I saw we were the only hispanic couple in the whole restaurant at the time, it made this attack feel even more personal. I was so worked up I could not even eat or drink after what this man had said, so I confronted him with the reluctancy of my date who did not want to escalate. I swiftly approached him and asked for an apology, he was quick to defend his position but after one exchange of sentences, Miles became apologetic, and I asked to speak with the manager, Allison. She was very professional and handled the situation amicably with a full refund, assuring us that she would be having a staff meeting and also apologized for Miles’ extremely unprofessional behavior while adding colorful words of her own for his actions.Ramen Tatsuya is a phenomenal restaurant and I have enjoyed coming here since 2017, however this being my first time at this location, my interaction with Miles left a terrible taste in my mouth that I hope management can clarify.

My husband and I came in and sat down. We were promptly greeted by Jory! He was so kind and professional. He was a very hard worker! Would come back to see Jory. Great attitude.

Manager and staff were so helpful and kind when the wait was long with our big group of 9. Drinks, food and music were delish.

This place was recommended to us by a local barista and I'm so glad we came! It has cool dive-bar vibes, great service, and excellent food. We got the curry bowl and tonkotsu bowl, which were both fantastic! But I think my favorite was their mango sake slushy; perfect for the hot weather!

Ehh… it’s alright. I honestly didn’t enjoy it that much. I can’t put my finger on it but there was too much of something on everything. I think it was ginger but I can’t tell. I’m sure you can find better food. The service and the atmosphere were cool though. Not great but not terrible.
