Delicious food and friendly staff! My food came out fast, fresh and delicious, but I had to take a phone call and when it was done, my ramen had gotten a little cold. I apologized to the staff and asked if they could heat it back up for me as it was my fault it had gotten cold. Without skipping a beat the staff member behind the bar immediately offered to remake it. She explained they don't have the ability to reheat it but would instead make my order again because she wanted to make sure I got to enjoy my ramen while it was fresh and hot. I can't say enough kind things about this location. When it comes to amazing ramen and the people who keep things running at this location, both are 5 stars in my book.

Jay took such good care of me — truly went above and beyond, for a mistake that was 100% my fault, and still brought me fresh food. Spectacular. One of my top 5 Austin spots forever. ❤️

First time here and the food was incredible. Ashlyn, Beth and May did a great job suggesting the best ramen and drinks. Worth the hype. 10/10 would recommend.

Was my first time here and no one explained how their specific system works. They fill the restaurant in waves. That group eats & leaves. The next wave of customers can come inside. This means you may be outside for 40 minutes until it’s your line’s turn. The ramen was nice. ?

Austin has a wonderful selection of ramen and Japanese food, but Ramen Tetsu-ya might do it best. The flavor is genuine and smooth making you wish you never see the bottom of the bowl. It's like a culinary vacation to Japan. The only drawback is the limited seating, but it's absolutely worth the wait. Try the Miso Hot or the classic Tonkotsu for the best of the best. Honestly, just pick something on the menu for the best of the best.Vegetarian options: There are two vegan ramen options as of April 2024

When we arrived, the line is super long. And there are lots of four people tables sitting with only two people. I checked with one of the waitress if they can split the four people table into two. The waitress said to me rudely that because that’s their table. Such an idiot answer. If there are no people waiting, of course. But the line is almost to the door, could you be less stubborn and be more flexible, kindly check with the customers if they don’t mind split the table for the people who are waiting. Anyway it’s their way to do the business, but as a customer, I don’t think they are really on the customer side. They even don’t want to give a try. And that rude waitress, hope life will teach you what is pilot, especially if you are in the service industry.

I went yesterday ( Wednesday) around 8 pm at this location, the music was extremely loud that it seems as though you are in a bar. I requested for it to be turned down a bit, it was better but still quite loud for a restaurant setting. The food was very good.

This ramen spot has a very cute atmosphere with option to sit indoor and outdoor. The ramen was very delicious with good topping/ filling options. Out of times I visited Austin this was my first time here and would definitely return.Ordered: Edamame , Gyoza, miso hot and miso not. The spicy level of the miso hot was perfect.

We went on a Wednesday around 6:15pm. The staff were very friendly and our ramen was served super fast. However, the tonkatsu ramen broth was heavily salted and not that flavorful, there were maybe 3 bites of noodles, and I honestly wasn't impressed by the pork. The spicy edamame was overcooked as well. I am hoping this was just an off day for the restaurant but I remember being blown away by the ramen years ago.

Bruuuuhh my noodle was hard and I even tip when I had to stand up there in the line to order my food. The only service was when they brought out the food from the back so next time I may have to cut their tip in half for doing half the service. Tips are getting ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind tipping but not when I have to do half of the service.
