Have not been happy with restaurants dining for a while now and my husband thought I am just grumpy. Finally come to this restaurant and had a wonderful, I mean really wonderful dinner. The eggplant is roasted just perfect and the smokiness goes so well with roasted pepper and yogart. Very satisfying experience. ?

For my first visit, I decided to try Rose Gose's brunch menu on a Saturday around 1:00 pm. Somewhat busy but not full, no waiting line.Although the skeleton of this restaurant stayed the same as the previous two restaurants, they added a few subtle classy touches to the decor. I also noted that they took the front counter out and put a wall between the kitchen and the restaurant. That gives them more space for additional tables.I also noted the attention to details when my cappuccino was served in a beautiful glass with a side of sugar cubes (as we typically do in Europe) and beautiful silverware and glassware.I had heard about this new European restaurant (the owner and one waitress are from Belarus - I don't know about the rest of the staff) from my friends at Eurocircle so, as a retired French chef, I had to try it.Food: Of course, as a Frenchman, I had to try their French plate. It was presented artfully on a large oval plate. My sunny side eggs were served separately. It consisted of a real, home-made, freshly baked, fluffy, and crunchy butter croissant. It was served with truffle butter (honestly, at that price point, I seriously doubt it was real fresh truffles - more like chopped mushrooms in a duxelles and sautéed in butter, cooked then whipped into fresh butter). The salmon rillette was very good and came with fresh smoked salmon. With that came a small, very fresh salad of spring greens with fresh strawberries. I wish there was some dressing on that salad (maybe in a small cup of it on the side) but it went well with the two cheese offered: a slice of camembert (a little bland) and a tasty slice of goat cheese rolled in chopped candied cranberries (lovely). French do love their cheese. To finish it all was a light but yummy chocolate macaron, the way I like them. All together, the food was very tasty and fresh, which is very important to me.Wines and cocktails: I am not much of an alcohol drinker so I passed on that pleasure (for others). I noticed their wine display offered at different prices to please most palates.Instead, I ordered an almond milk cappuccino (good, strong coffee with well frosted milk) and a Topo Chico.Service: The two ladies that helped me were very nice and friendly, but the service was a little slow. It looks to me that they could have added one more waitress to serve the outside tables, but it may be difficult to find qualified help these days. It's not a major problem, but I noticed.Music: a bit loud for my taste but bearable. Besides, I did not have a friend to chstv with me.Overall, I was pleased with my first visit. I will come back with a friend for dinner.Chef Alain Braux

We had such an amazing time at Rose Gose. The food, service, and atmosphere was great! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather with a bottle of wine. Our party of 4 split a variety of dishes that were all delicious including the Burrata, roasted pumpkin, and the tuna tartar - all were so yummy! We will definitely be coming back to this gem!

Beef tartare with truffle mousse made by someone who has never actually eaten beef tartare. the most grisseled, chewy, thick tartare I've eaten in 40 years. the "truffle" mousse also tastes clearly more heavily flavored with porcini mushrooms than with truffle itself. very poor ingredients.Coupled with the mozzarella sticks not being served as advertised, and the burger being cheap fast food style crushed patties rather than the thick patties advertised.Total bait and switch.Dietary restrictions: No option to modify.
